The villa is situated in the village of Gotcebel about 3 kms from Yalikavak with its shops restaurants bars beaches and new international marina. This resort is one of Turkey's best kept secrets. There is a weekly market with bargains galore the fruit and veg part is a sight to behold. There are boat trips from the keyside. A small bus (dolmus) station for trips to bodrum and other parts of the peninsular. If its further afield you require there is a travel agent who can arrange trips to some of the ancient sites with pick up from the villa.
The villa is set in a corner position which allows for a degree of privacy at rear not enjoyed by the others, you can sunbathe (sunbeds are provided) barbecue or just chill out in privacy. French doors from main lounge open out on to a covered patio with lawned areas beyond. On first floor there are three bedrooms two of which have patio doors leading to the balcony with its wicker three piece suite and views over pool and mountains beyond.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
The Bodrum peninsula has many attractions. Bodrum town itself for nightlife, bars, restaurants, the medieval castle, boat trips, ferry to Cos and Rhodes, Gumbet with its many shops bars restaurants, picturesque Bitez, Turgetries with its famous Saturday market, Gumsluk, ancient myndos and rabbit island were you can paddle across the causeway to visit.
The peninsula is devided by a mountain range down its spine, the drive from Yalikavak over the mountain to orticent is spectacular, there are three ruined windmills on top you must stop and take in the views of Yalikavak and surroundings. Gundogun to the north is another place to visit. Take detour on main road from airport, beaches restaurants, you will be spoiled for choice. Our villa has guide books maps etc at your disposal.
If waterparks are your thing, visit the one at Orticent halfway between Bodrum and Turgetries.
Bodrum / Yalikavak area
Yalikavak with its waterside restaurants specialising in fish and sea foods also some of the best steaks anywhere. As well as traditional Turkish food, dine on keyside or on the beach or just cool off with a beer, enjoying the friendly hospitality of the locals. You can fish in the clear blue waters by boat or just off the key.
There is a covered bazaar with many shops catering for all tastes, a weekly market, banks and atms, car hire, internet cafes, bus terminus, taxi ranks. Not forgetting the international yacht marina and boutiques. There are shops where you can book tours to the many ancient sites of Turkey, with pick ups from and to villa. 100 yards across road from the complex is a brand new supermarket not unlike sainsburys,also further along is another large supermarket with petrol station opposite. There is a small bar restaurant, about 75 yards on left.Also,for people who choose not to drive a frequent bus service is available from outside complex to yalikavak.(see timetable in villa)
How to get there
• By air: Airlines we use most are Thomas Cook (from UK), we have flown to Turkey for past 4 years and find them the cheapest
• Car rental recommended. Blue of Bodrum are very reasonable and reliable - contact serdar@blue-rentacar.com.
• Our villa is about 40 mins leasurely drive from Bodrum airport with no major junctions or crossings to worry about, full details and map will be sent with booking confirmation.

Further details indoors: The main entrance has a covered porch with automatic security lighting a night. The mahoghany front door leads to the hallway, on left is a small wc and wash hand basin, next left is the understair utility room with auto washing machine ahead is the American style kitchen with marble work surfaces, hob, extractor, combination microwave, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, deep fryer, all pots and pans you could want.The kitchen is served by a large fridge freezer, dinner service, glasses, mugs, cutlery and utensils.
To the right is a large through lounge, dining area with glass dinner table and six chairs adjacent to kitchen, the lounge has corner unit seating, large pouffe facing the 36inc tv with satelite, dvd, cd, and a selection of dvds. An open fireplace finishes the effect. French doors and fly netting door leads outside to covered tiled patio.
Upstairs there are three bedrooms, bedroom 1 with king size bed large wardrobes, security safe, tv, satelite, dvd player. Air conditioning, roof fan, patio doors leading to outside covered balcony. Bed 2 twin beds wardrobe, aircon, patio door to outside covered balcony. Bed 3 twin beds, under bed storage, wardrobe, roof fan. Travel cot. Fly nets fitted to all windows and doors.Nb,air conditioning units double as heating if required.
Further details outdoors: Outdoor furniture, five sunbeds with soft pads, barbecue,dining table and six chairs with seat pads. Apart from main covered patio there is a further patio area ideal for alfresco dining, barbecuing, or private sunbathing.
Area surrounded by shrubs lawns and views of mountains, this area has sun all day long. access to villa is by paved paths illuminated at night. The pool is also illuminated.

The site is cared for by a manager who with his family live on site, and are available for cleaning if required
Villa will be prepared and cleaned ready for your arrival, please ensure to leave as you found it. If extra cleaning required, eg, longer stays, etc., will be subject to extra charge of £15 per week.
Conditions
A deposit of £100 pounds is required for bookings more than six weeks before your stay.
A breakage deposit of £100 will be required, refundable two weeks after departure.
Strictly no smoking except on balcony.
