Our “Sunset” Villa is one of only seven in a private, beautifully designed and perfectly located setting. You’ll be welcomed by sprawling mountain views from the pool or pop upstairs for a drink with terrace views over the Aegean Sea that’s only a stones throw away.

The relaxed and friendly atmosphere makes Yalikavak the perfect resort for those wanting to experience the real Turkey. Nestled on the North West Bodrum peninsula coast it provides stunning waterside dining to compliment the authentic local life, all at great value. The friendly locals openly mix with visitors and the stunning new 'Bodrum marina' 5 minutes along the coast has proved a haven for yachts and some of the best restaurants in the region. The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

The Bodrum Peninsula is one of the the most beautiful parts of Turkey's Aegean Coast. There are many small fishing villages and resorts scattered around the coast, each with their own individual character. There are numerous beaches with many offering an array of watersports. Close to the villa there is a beach club with gym and volley ball court and a wide range of watersports.

Local attractions include Ephesus, the largest archaelogical site in the world, the stunning pools at Pamukkale, the temple of Apollo at Didim and St Peter's castle built by the crusaders are just 10 miles away in Bodrum. A real treat is a range of boat trips that can be taken from Yalikavak or Bodrum that visit many secluded coves. Try a Turkish Hammam (steam bath) at the nearby Rayola Hammam (3miles away).

Temperatures in the summer month can reach 40 but there is lovely cool wind in Yalikavak that makes it very comfortable.

The Bodrum / Yalikavak area

Yalikavak is a small, quiet traditional Turkish fishing village on the northern coast of the Bodrum Peninsula offering visitors authentic Turkish life in beautiful surroundings and a relaxing atmosphere.

Yalikavak has several palm fringed beaches, crystal clear waters and its new 400 berth fashionable ''Port Bodrum'' marina, where you can take a short evening stroll past both traditional and modern restaurants, bars and coffee houses. These numerous delightful waterfront restaurants specialise in locally caught seafood. A beer cost about £1.00 and a fresh fish meal is typically less than £10 a head inclusive of drinks.

Most amenities can be reached from the villa without the use of a car. Yalikavak's Thursday market is a bright and colourful affair - be prepared to barter for all goods.

(During the Summer Season there are a multitude of regional flights from the UK to Bodrum Airport. During the Winter Season there are 3 Direct Charter flights from London Gatwick, Manchester & Birmingham.
Scheduled Airlines operate year round flights to Bodrum via Istanbul. Some suggested websites for flights are listed below).

When arriving in Turkey you will be required to buy a tourist visa at the airpot. This will Cost £10 and will need to be paid with a £10 note.

Ferry trips to Kos and Rhodes are available from Bodrum.

“Fabulous!!” We have just confirmed our 2012 holiday back to Yalikavak. This will be our third year running to Sunset Villas. We love the villa, the lovely people that live in the surrounding villas who make us feel very welcome and supply us with local cake! The promenade and restaurants are great and the waiters are very welcoming and accommodating. Couldn't ask for better service. Would recommend this to anyone who wants a relaxing stress free holiday. We would also like to thank Paul Sinclair for his efficient service at all times. Thank you

“Perfect Location, great weather, lovely people.” We've been to Yalikak on a number of occasions and have found that location for the old town, marina, shops and beach are simply best served by this location. The villa is perfect for what it offers, simplicity and relaxation yet for our children close enough to enjoy Bodrum and it's surrounding areas. Our grandkids just love the pool and the local waiters are always welcoming without overstepping the mark. We're already looking forward to going back in 2012. Thanks to Paul for the efficiency and organisation, you took the stress out of our trip.
