This brand new sea side property, in Yalikavak is a short drive away from Yalikavak centre which offers excellent restaurants, bars, shops and a brand new marina. The property is situated on a medium sized complex which has 24 hour secruity. The penthouse comfortably sleeps 4 in a mixture of single and twin beds. There is one shower room and one ensuite bathroom.

The comfortable spacious living room also doubles up as a dining room close to the brand new fully fitted kitchen. The large 20ft private balcony overlooks the sea and is ideal for dining on or watching the sun set with a glass of wine to complete the perfect day.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

The region is mountanious and next to the Agean Sea and temperatures are consistantly high from May until October with little chance of cloud. There is plenty to do in the area. For those who enjoy historical places of interest you can visit the ancient city of Ephesus, the town of Dalyan or the Pamukkale. For those who would rather relax by the pool or sea you are pretty much garunteed good weather during the long summer season.
For those sporty people why not try mountain biking, water sports or sailing.

Bodrum / Yalikavak area

The small town of Yalikavak is about 2km from the penthouse which you can either drive to, take a taxi or use the local dolmus (bus). The town offers an excellent range of restaurants, bars and various traditional shops. If you like fresh seafood the local restaurants are a must. The area has various beaches and beach clubs.
Once a week on a Thursday the is a local market which is worth a visit.
The newly built marina also provides an ideal location for an evening meal by the sea in the most relaxing of settings.
A highlight for most people who visit Turkey is an all day boat trip which takes you round the various bays so you can jump in the sea or you can relax on the boat with a drink and enjoy the lunch provided.

Only 20 minutes away you will find yourself in the livlier town of Bodrum with a large choice of bars, clubs and restaurants. There are also wide range of shops.

How to get there

Flights are available from most UK International Airports and arrive at Bodrum Airport, or flights via Istanbul to Bodrum are available from the Uk also. Check out 'Holidays 4 U' or 'Fly Thomas Cook' for competetive up to date prices! Less than an hours drive will find you at the Calypso penthouse, or transfers are available from around £30. Local car hire is also available, just ask me for their contact details. A hire car is advised as it will enable you to explore the the area including the shops, restaurants and beaches.

The penthouse has recently been newly furnished with modern quality furniture and white goods. The living room/dining room has two sofas and coffe tables and a dining table which seats 6. There are two bedrooms one with a double bed and one with two single beds. There is one ensuite bathroom and 1 shower room.
The living room and bedrooms all have air conditioning.

Further details outdoors:
The spacious balcony is perfect for dining with the family, overlooking the sea as the sun sets. There is a large pool in attractive gardens overlooking the sea very close to the apartment and changing rooms. There is another large infinity pool one minute walk from the apartment. The perfect sea view provieds a stunning backdrop to the perfect family holiday.
Car parking space is also included making it even easier to explore the local surroundings in a hire car.
From summer 2008 the complex will be offering a free daily bus service into Yalikavak centre and the beach.

Further details

A non refundable deposit of £100 is required to secure the booking . We recommend that you are covered by travel insurance in the event of cancellation. Balance of payment due to be paid eight weeks prior to starting date of holiday. No refunds if booking cancelled within eight weeks of starting date of holiday. If booking date is less than eight weeks from starting date of holiday then full payment to be made.
There is a refundable breakages deposit of £150 which we request with your final payment 8 weeks before
the start of your holiday.
