Turkbuku is a delightful spot and is the favourite retreat of many well-known Turkish artists, actors and entertainers who appear at many small bars and restaurants at night. Several of the more popular restaurants are run by Istanbul couples who have fled the big city.
Bodrum / Turkbuku area
The Bodrum Peninsula has many places of interest. There are some fantastic beaches all around the peninsula ready for exploring. There is so much to do in the Bodrum peninsula - Gulet trips on the water, exploring the ancient castle in Bodrum, shopping and any number of watersports.
There are wonderful fish restaurants, in Gumusluk and Turkbuku as well as a huge number of restaurants in Bodrum itself. Recommended places: Turkbuku, Gundogan, Yalikavak, Gumusluk, Torba and Bodrum.
How to get there
Fly to Bodrum and taxi or hire car to villa (hire car can be pre- arranged via our local agent). For an additional charge we can arrange for you to be picked up at the airport where you will be provided with a car for the duration of your holiday.

Deck chairs and barbeque also provided. 2 private beaches for the use of Hemikoy village owners and guests The large beach is more popular with families and boasts a bar and restaurant, two diving jetties and a safe children’s paddling lagoon. There is also a brightly painted open bus that travels from the supermarket and back to the beaches at certain times of the day. The beaches have definite characters of their own.The quieter beach reached by winding steps through a cool scented bay-tree wood has a café and a beautiful swimming bay. Both have showers and toilet facilities. Tennis courts are freely available and there is a good local supermarket nearby.
