Due to its idyllic bohemian little bay, with plenty of fish restaurants, small beaches, jazz clubs and small stalls selling all kind of souvenir , Gümüslük has become a very popular place to reside. Our stone house located on a hill side in Koyunbaba ,(Between Gümuslük bay and Yalikavak) is perfectly situated for those who wants to spend their time in a quiet atmosphere, with nice view, and a few neighbors. The house is a part of a small complex with ONLY 3 houses all houses are build in real stone, and the architecture is inspired from the original Bodrum Houses. The entrance floor has open kitchen/living room area with entrance to a shadowed terrace, and a pool, which is to be shared with the 2 other houses in the complex. The pool can be overlooked from the terrace, so parents can relax , while the kids have fun. The living room area has eating place for 6 and a nice chimney area, which can be used from those who choose to spend their holiday in Bodrum, out of season, were the evenings might be a little chilly, this floor also have a small toilet. 1. floor host 3 double bedrooms and one bath room.

All bedrooms are decorated and furnished in this very special Bodrum/ bohemian style, which is casual but never without a meaning. The house provide linen and towels. Kitchen is very well equipped with pots, pans and table ware.

There is a very nice and friendly couple employed to look after the complex, and they are always willing to help, if needed.

Its recommended to hire a car or scooters, but the small mini-buses passes every 20 minutes, and makes it possible to survive with out a car. 5 minutes by car to the nearest beach, 10 minutes walk to the nearest Migros, a very well assorted Supermarket.

This house is great for families and friends.

Bodrum Bodrum Bodrum, please come and visit this corner of Turkey - once you first visit this place, feel the spirit and discover its various offers, you may never want to leave again. Due to the Greek back ground of this area, Bodrums signature is the white houses,( many of them with blue shutters in front of the windows) the small curved streets and plenty of bourgonvilles in different shades of pink and purple. The peninsula have something to offer every body. Bodrum has a great history , begin with King of Mausolus and continue to explore. In the 60's the peninsula was home for writers and artists from Istanbul, they put Bodrum on the map, with their own notoriety. The bohemian spirit from those days, can still be experienced in various places - Visit Torba sea side late afternoon, and see all the color full ladies, sitting on the cafes, discussing everything and nothing or maybe they play tavla or back gammon ? Drive around the peninsula and you will pas several small ateliers with art and hand crafts. Most of all Bodrum has become famous due to the fantastic climate and the crystal clear water in combination with the many beautiful small bays and villages. In recent years Bodrum have become the meeting point for celebrities from all over the world - they all come to Bodrum, because its possible to live hidden during the day and at night, they visit the many high society restaurants and night clubs. However Bodrum welcomes every body from back packers, charter tourists, families, honey moon couples, young party girls and boys, to retired people! Bodrum have an offer to every body whether its a humble or luxury holiday requested.

Gümü?lük, is a small seaside village and fishing port in Turkey, is situated on the remains of the ancient city of Myndos. The remains of the foundations of buildings can be clearly seen in the knee deep water that leads from the middle of the two bays in Gümüslük to Rabbit Island - The island has building fragments scattered around dating back to antiquity and offers a panoramic view of Gümü?lük cove and beach. There is more to Gümü?lük than the small area near Rabbit Island, the actual village stretches further inland.

The hillsides around the Gümü?lük bay have the last years been protected against future developments, which means unlike many other holiday destinations, Gümüsluk has still kept its original spirit

Since 2004, the village has played host to the Gümüslük International Classical Music Festival. This festival is held between July and September and is organized by the Bodrum Classical Music Association.

This annual festival is hosted in the Antique Stone Quarries in the Koyunbaba area of Gümü?lük. King Mausolos collected the stones for both his palace and his Mausoleum from this quarry. Events take place in other parts of the Bodrum Peninsula, including Bodrum Castle. The festival also encompasses an annual masterclass programme ( Gumusluk Music Academy) and since 2012; the Ahmed Adnan Saygun Piano Competition.

There are three mosques in Gümü?lük. One near the harbour, one in the central village area, and one half way between the two adjacent to Kadri Özsar? Park?.

There is a weekly market held every Wednesday, adjacent to Kadri Özsar? Park?. This market sells local seasonal produce, dairy, traditional clothes and textile and housewares.

Gümüsluk is worth a visit whole year around.

"Accueil nul, voisinage très déplaisant, dommage."

La maison pourrait être pas mal, pourrait être au calme et a une très jolie vue (devant car derrière il y a une grande antenne). Voiture indispensable car en dehors d'un super marché à prox… More
