The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
Daily maximum temperatures can reach 33 degrees in August. Early summer and late autumn have average temperatures of 27 degrees.
The area is one of ancient history, with many well known sites to visit both in the immediate vicinity and further afield.
Bodrum / Gumusluk Village area
The Bodrum peninsula has 5000 years of history and the ancient historic sites and monuments of Bodrum are worth a visit .
Gumbet has the longest sandy beach. From here you can take cruises and participate in water sports. There are some old windmills worth a visit.
Turgutreis - from here the shore lights of Kos can be seen at night. There are also daily cruises to visit this Greek island, with duty free purchases available.
Gundogan is popular for water sports and walking. A steep climb leads to 50 steps up to a spectacular monastery.
Torba - ferry trips are availablefrom here to visit the magnificent Temple of Apollo.
And if you have time to spare to travel further afield visit Ephasus (Efes), Miletus, Priene, Aphrodisius to name but a few places of historic interest.

Further details indoors: The ground floor is a large open-plan area (living room/kitchen/dining area). Well furnished and equipped with fridge/freezer, cooker/oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, iron etc. The first floor has two well appointed bedrooms; one double with balcony and a twin-bedded room, both with spectacular views Bed linen and towels are provided. The villa is air-conditioned.
Further details outdoors: Villa Beyaz has a garden and a pleasant patio with table and chairs for alfresco dining and there are sun loungers on the roof terrace. A perfect place to enjoy the Mediterranean sunsets.
There is a communal swimming pool, shops, restaurant and beach within a short walking distance of the Villa.
Gumusluk Village is a peaceful village with 5000 years of history it is an official archaeolgical site. There are small waterside bars and restaurants, the fish and seafood are particularly good.
Bodrum 18km away offers vibrant night life and a shopper's paradise. Visit the historic sites of St Peter's Castle and the Mausoleum (one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World). The Marina has quiet bars and restaurants from where to watch the cruise ships and boats come and go. Daily gulet cruises and sunset cruises can be booked locally.
The many villages of the peninsula can be explored by driving round the coast, taking a gulet cruise or using the public transport (Dolmus). If you have time visit some of the many ancient sites such as Ephasus (Efes), Miletus, Priene, Pergamon, Aphrodisius or Pamukkale to name but a few.
