The apartment is situated a short walk to Yalikavak centre set between the ocean/new marina and the mountains.
The two bedroom spacious apartment at Marina Walks offers one double bedroom, and one twin bedroom – both with balcony’s and sea views. The large living area has a sofa bed which can sleep a further 2 adults, Satellite TV and Dining Table. The living area opens out onto a very spacious pool--facing balcony with mountain views. Which has covered and uncovered areas to dine and lounge on .
The kitchen has electric hob facilities, washing machine, fridge freezer and microwave/grill combi.
The bathroom offers a bath with shower. Air conditioning is installed in both bedrooms and the living area. The apartment is newly built to a good standard and comfortably furnished.
The complex on which the apartment is situated houses 12 apartments, a generous sized pool and communal BBQ area. There is also a gated car park. The apartment is a short 5 minute walk to the coast road which leads you down to the newly built Marina area, with shops and restaurants, and beautiful coastal views. A pleasant stroll past the many moored boats/yachts takes you down into the village in 15 minutes.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
The Bodrum Peninsula boasts a perfect Mediterranean climate with low humidity. The long, extended summer runs between May and October with reliable weather and rain virtually unheard of. Summer temperatures range from the mid 20°Cs at the beginning and end of the season, up to the mid 30°Cs in the hottest months of July and August. Winters tend to be mild with some sun, and occasional showers and it is not unusual to be able to swim in the sea even in November. Lycian and Roman ruins can be found throughout the region and include sites such as Ephesus, Didyma and the beautiful rock tombs at Dalyan. Natural wonders such as Pumukkale and the mud baths and hot springs at Dalyan can also be experienced.
Other great local trips include the more bohemian resort of Gumusluk - a 15 minute drive down the coast - with beach bars to chill out in, and good restaurants. Diving trips are available from here as are daily boat trips to the Greek Island of Kos. The nearest main town to Yalikavak is Bodrum, which is a 15 minute drive/bus journey and offers a wider choice of restaurants, nightlife and shopping.

In the village you will find the more traditional side of Yalikavak which we fell in love with. It is unspoilt with low rise buildings, a good choice of harbour side restaurants including great offerings of sea food and excellent Turkish meze’s. There is a small beach area in the village, with adjacent bars and restaurants that will serve you on the beach. It is an appealing town which takes some discovering offering some tradition as well as the new Marina with its more modern style. There are many shops in the traffic free centre, and every week the town hosts a fruit, vegetable and clothing market.
Boat trips can be arranged here for days out to swim and snorkel along the coastline. Outings to Dalyan, Ephesus, Bodrum and other places of interest can be organised by local travel agents who will pick you up from near the apartment.

Airport transfers are available from our local agent and cost approx £30 each way for up to four persons. Yalikavak is 30 miles from the airport and takes approx 40 mins.

Smokers are requested not to smoke in the apartment, smoking only on the terraces please. A non refundable deposit of £100 is required to secure the booking . We recommend that you are covered by travel insurance in the event of cancellation. Balance of payment due to be paid eight weeks prior to starting date of holiday. No refunds if booking cancelled within eight weeks of starting date of holiday. A receipt and local map of area will be sent to you. If booking date is less than eight weeks from starting date of holiday then full payment to be made. There is a refundable breakages deposit of £150 which we request with your final payment 8 weeks before the start of your holiday.
