Home description

This apartment is brand new and only 300metres from the Roman Amphitheatre.
It has two bedrooms and two terraces with stunning views of St Peters Castle.
Airconditioning to all bedrooms and lounge area.
American style kitchen and a bathroom.
The apartment is on the top floor of three stories which is a reason for buying, there is NO high rise in Bodrum.
The development is very small and cosy, with a shared swimming pool available from May to November.
There is a good supermarket and cashpoint within 100 metres.
On the marina there are good restaurants with all types of cuisine to cater for all tastes.
The Marina club is open to the public with good food and entertainment.
For the more lively entertainment ,try Bar Street with lots of bars, and the Halikarnas disco,the largest outside disco in Europe.
There are plenty of historical facets to Bodrum to explore.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

Bodrum is located on Turkeys famous Turquoise coast and it is a beautiful stretch of coastline with many bays and islands within reach.
There are many other resorts and small villages within a dolmus ride such as Yalikavak, Gundogan, Bitez and Gumbet (renowned for its wonderful sandy beach)

Bodrum / Central Bodrum area

Bodrum is a vibrant, cosmopolitan town and has a wide selection of things to see and do. There are many sites of archeological interest from the amphitheatre to the remains of one of the wonders of the ancient world the mausoleum of mausellus.
The seafront area is split into two bays by St Peters Castle jutting out on a spit of land into the sea. St Peters castle built by the Knights of St John contains an excellent museum of marine archeology. There are 2 waterparks nearby for a great family day out and you can vist the Greek islands of Rhodes and Kos via hydrofoil from Bodrum Marina.
On the seafront you will find Gulet boats, sailing boats and the yachts of Bodrum Marina, along with a wide variety of bars and restaurants. Bodrum Yacht Club is also open to non-members and has a stunning location with guest bands and musicians from all over the world. Visit the second week of October and have stunning views of the Gulet races around the bay. (please check the dates of this event).
Nightlife ranges from quiet beachfront bars and small live music venues to sophisticated outdoor nightclubs such as the "Halikarnas."which is the largest outdoor disco in Europe.

The shopping in Bodrum Centre is found in the small narrow streets in the old town where designer shops sit alongside traditional Turkish shops.
You can shop for food in the bazaar / market twice a week or visit the well stocked supermarket very close to the apartment.

A huge range of boat trips and excursions can be booked almost anywhere. Ephesus, Pammucale, Kos, Rhodes etc.

Bodrum certainly knows how to party at New Year unlike Spain or France.
Everything is open, We gave up at 04.00am.

My experience with Amphitheatre Apartments has been very positive from start to finish. I saw the accommodation on an internet website and enquired about availability. My email was responded to very quickly and a reservation was made.

The owner of the apartment has been quick with his replies when I asked questions about the apartment or payment arrangements, which was great.

Once we arrived in Bodrum I was very happy to see that the apartment was jus the way the pictures showed it on the internet.(This is not always the case when booking accommodation online)

The apartment is very modern, clean and inviting.

The view is fantastic, I loved it (and I am sure I mentioned it a few too many times during our stay)

The property manager was very helpful in all regards, very reliable.

A supermarket is within walking distance and local buses to Bodrum and other towns are only a few steps away.

Overall I had a very nice stay and would recommend the apartment to anyone wanting to visit Bodrum.

Hi Bill,

We had a really go time in Turkey.

Your apartment was well equipped and it was a blessing that you have air conditioning.

The satellite receiver box did not seem to work, but the collection of DVDs gave use something to watch. If the satellite worked I think that would have been perfect.

The apartment is just on the edge of town, but it is within walking distance of the centre and the local buses pick-up at the bottom of the lane.

All in all I'd score it 8/10 and would definitely stay there again.

ive been off work following an accident so i will now right your review now im back

On arrival we were met by the very helpful security staff he took us to the apartment which was a nice touch. The apartment was as described, well furnished and equipped with everything you could possibly need, The view from the balcony's are breathtaking over the harbour and bodrum castle. We used the on site pool most days and is a good way to cool down after a days site seeing.
The whole complex is very clean and very well looked after and we will certainly recommend it to our friends, all in all we were taken by Turkey and the friendliness of all the people we met

many many thanks for a fantastic holiday and we will definitely stay again
