About the home

IMI Farm House has been built in an ancient style, but with all modern conveniences. With its 50 cm thick stone walls and roof tiles, the house is well insulated as an old cottage would traditionaly be, keeping it nice and cool in summer and warm in winter.
The traditionally built farmhouse with stone walls, beamed and bamboo ceilings and gleaming wooden fittings, some exquisitely carved. A spacious sitting room, delightfully furnished with a mix of antique and contemporary pieces, opens onto the shaded pool terrace from one side and on the other side opens to an inner courtyard where there is an old “gumbet” – a water collection building. The large pool (8 metres x 5 metres, depth ranging from 1.25 to 2.2 metres) is surrounded by sunbathing terraces.

The house was originally designed as a retreat for the owners and their friends, a place where they could gather and escape city life and enjoy lazy sun filled days, excellent dining and good company. This is an ideal property for a group of friends or big family gatherings as all the bedrooms are of the same standard.

Conveniently located within a 50 minute transfer from Bodrum Airport, Bitez is a short dolmus (mini-bus) ride to the hustle and bustle of Bodrum and the rowdy nightlife of Gumbet. Yet while sunbathing on the beach or relaxing in a beach front cafe, here you can feel miles away from it all.

Bitez has something for everyone. Aside from being a well-known windsurfing spot, water sports of all kinds can be found on the beach. As well, some of Turkey's most famous historical sites are within short reach.
