About the home

Fabulous 1st floor apartment sleeping up to 6 with spectacular sea views over Mandalya Bay to the Aeagen Sea from the large balcony. The communal pool and gardens are right below the apartment making easy access for keeping an eye on the kids splashing around in the pool is no problem - you are near them at all times.

The apartment is lovingly furnished with a seating group of two Double Setees, providing comfortable accommodation for 6 people with the balcony bringing the outside in giving a feeling of real space, keeping the apartment light and airy. The open plan living space has a double aspect and wonderful sea and pool views. The integral living dining area means that meal preparation is done with the family around you. The fully equiped kitchen has sufficient Crockery and Cutlery for 6 guests.

The sliding doors from the living area lead out onto the large patio which has a glass table and chairs. Standing by the ballastrade you have a full view of the pool and sea.

Located at the Top of the resort for easy access and security with parking next to the apartment. Situated close to the main road, very convenient, only a short walk away to amenities and local transport with Bus Stop just outside Resort Gate.

The resort amenities are about 5 mins walk away and include the clubhouse with its heated indoor Pool and 2 outdoor pools( one of which is a Slide Pool), Sports areas, 6 hole Golf Course, Sauna and Turkish Bath, Fitness Room and Beauty Parlour as well as a Supermarket.
Guests can also use similar facilities and Restaurants at the two sister resorts at no extra costs with free shuttle transfers within the resorts.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

Bodrum is a cosmopolitan, lively resort built around two bays, with a 15th century St. Peters castle in the middle. There is a wide choice of Restaurants, Bars and Discos, including the famous open air disco, Halikarnas.

A short ride away is Gumbet, perfect for lazy days on the beach and a lively and fun night-life.

Along the Bodrum Peninsula are small but charming resorts of Ortakent, Bitez, Yalikavak, Torba and Turgetries, which has one of the largest outdoor markets on the bodrum Peninsula.

For those looking to explore why not take a day trip to Kos and Rhodes from Bodrum Marina, or excursion tours to the historical sites of Pamukkale, Ephesus, Dalyan or Didim to name a few. These can be booked from the Resort or Bodrum.

The Bodrum / Lake Tuzla area

OUTSIDE
Take a stroll to the Sunset Cafe, located just a short distance from the entrance to Flamingo Country Club (FCC), which overlooks the sea from a high view-point and is ideally situated to take in the sunset as you eat a meal or sip your drinks.

From here there are small roads that lead down to several man-made beaches e.g. "My Beach", a peaceful and beautiful retreat with landscaped gardens and facilities such as Beach Huts and Restaurant/Bar offering Snacks all day.

Ocean View Cafe, across the road for Snacks, Daily Supplies and Sundaries as well as the Arcade of Shops.

COAST/BEACH
Experience the breathtaking views on your own private terrace whilst you eat your breakfast every morning (believe me you will not tire of doing this). Walk to the other side of the road and you will be looking over the Aegean coastline, where you have access to the complex's own Private Beach Club.

The Private Beach Club is 5 minutes walk from the property. A Mono Rail or shuttle bus service from directly opposite the entrance to FCC can also take you down to the Artev Private Beach Club with its luxury decked jetty which is populated with Loungers, Beanbags and Parasols.

The Beach Club also offers its own bar and restaurant facilities, Water Sports, Fishing and Sailing for those who want to take part in these activities.

BODRUM
You could take the local bus to Milas or Bodrum for choice of restaurants or shopping and to explore the treats of Turkey.
Bodrum has its own beaches and a particular favourite is Bitez beach.
You can visit the famous Bodrum Castle, Marina and other tourist attractions.

For "Dancing On Water" you can take a trip out to Sea on the Marine Club Catamaran, the largest floating Disco of its kind with a Glass Bottom Floor that sails out to sea at night.

GUMBET
You can visit Gumbet, located next to Bodrum, perfect for a lively and fun night-life. Trips arranged by recreational team at resort or by Dolmush (local bus) which runs late into the night during high season.

BOGAZICI / GUVERCINLIK
In nearby villages of Bogazici and Govercinlik you can book Fishing Trips or Gullet Cruises with onboard lunch. Also great choice of restaurants and shopping.

GOLF
The complex has its own 6 hole 'pitch and putt' course, however, 5 minutes drive away over the other side of the lake is the brand new Vita Park Golf Resort. This consists of a beautiful club house where you can dine and relax in peaceful surroundings. The resort is equipped with 2 PGA standard 18 hole courses, one currently a pay&play that will challenge every golfer. Also has a Driving Range. It is a very beautiful course with great facilities, as well as coaching lessons if you want to learn from the club professional.

FURTHER DETAILS
The complex has so much to offer with different restaurants to suite all kinds of tastes. If you fancy cooking within the apartment you can go to the local supermarket which stocks a large selection of foods for you to cook.
There are several bars on site if you fancy a drink at the clubhouse, or stock up the fridge with your own drinks from the market and relax by your own pool.
If you have kids they will surely love the new slides that have just been built, and which will no doubt keep them entertained for most of the day.
Have a relaxing turkish bath or massage or if you want to keep fit use the gym that is available in the clubhouse.

You are free to use facilities such as Pools, Health Suites, Restaurants, Bars, Leisure Activities and Entertainment on all 3 Complexes at no extra cost. Shuttle buses run every 30 mins to take you anywhere between the complexes.

There are so many things you can do you will wonder how you can fit them all into your holiday.

TRAVEL
Bodrum Milas International Airport is only a 16 km away from Flamingo Country Club.

Cheap Direct flights into Bodrum from the UK with Easyjet, Thomas Cook, Monarch, Pegasus Airlines and Turkish Airlines to name a few.

The Resort is only 15 mins away by Car or Taxi from the Airport. A Taxi can take up to 4 people with luggage and will cost approx. £25 one-way.
Transfers from Bodrum Airport to the apartment can be arranged at request and are only approx £20 each way.

CAR HIRE
If you want to remain on the complex car hire is not recommended, however for those who wish to travel and explore the surrounding areas car hire would be better for this.

There are many low cost care hire companies with rates from as low as £18 per day and the local taxi and Dolmush (Turkish buses) are common and cheap, available outside the resort and run late into the night in high season.

Car Hire can be arranged on request. Directions will be sent upon confirmation of booking along with Final Travel Documents with all necessary information.

The total distance from the airport to the Apartment is about 15km.

“Outstanding” My husband and I booke a3 week holiday, and we were not disappointed. From booking our holiday to the end of our stay the owner Mubina could not be more helpful (better than any travel agent). She was very helpful, informative and looked after us from start to finish. The apartment was better than shown, outstanding, immaculate, fully equipped for your every need. The views from the balcony were to "die for" every morning you woke up. Pool to ourselves as it was late season.Grounds were maintained to a high standard. Bar across road for small items, but down road new supermarket which sold everything. Bus service into Bodrum ran daily, cheap in price. It was our little bit of heaven for 3 weeks, will be back. Highly recommended.

“Wonderful holiday packed with adventure” We were very fortunate to be on holiday at the same time as the owners. Our holiday was arranged by the owners with great detail and consideration , including car hire for two weeks. It was faultless from the moment we arrived at the airport to the day we returned. The apartment is beautiful, well furnished and very clean on arrival with unbeatable Sea view and surroundings from the roof terrace. As this was our first independently planned holiday, we were a bit concerned. All our worries were put to rest as soon as we met the owners who very kindly allowed us to accompany or follow them around. In the days that followed we drove all around the peninsula visiting Milas, Torba, Gumsluc, Yalikavak, Turgutreis (with many shops), Guvernsillick (for fresh bakery products) and frequent visits to Bodrum for lots of shopping. All these villages have unique qualities with sea front fish restaurants (reasonably priced) and dinning there with sunsets is a rare luxury. We hired a boat all to ourselves at the nearby village of Bogicci and spend a memorable day at sea, swimming in beautiful warm water coves/beaches and lunch and Turkish tea provided on board. We booked a 2 day excursion trip to Ephesus and Pamukkale from Bodrum which is an unforgettable experience. Other days were spend on the resort swimming regularly in the pool below, and some of us using the Gym and Health Suite facilities at Flamingo and Royal Height. We spend hours on the pleasant balcony overlooking the pool, with views of the mountains and stunning Sunsets. Considering we were eating out most of the time and had the opportunity of having some meals at the Clubhouse restaurant, Royal Heights, the Sunset Cafe. All the meals were very tasty and good value in breathtaking surrounding views with acceptionally friendly, helpful staff. It was a wonderful holiday, we did more than we anticipated and are grateful to the owners for making it so comfortable and memorable. We would definitely recommend booking through the owners for a stress free and comfortable holiday. The location and condition of the apartment is excellent for all purposes.
