The apartment is situated in the hills above Yalikavak, with stunning views overlooking the bay . Approx. five minutes by car to the town centre and beaches. Ideal for a quiet and peaceful holiday, but within easy reach of excellent restaurants and shops. There is a large market for local produce ,and some interesting bargains to purchase. If you would like to explore further afield, then Bodrum is only 15 kilometres away, and has many places of interest. (A gulet boat cruise is strongly recommended, or perhaps a jeep safari for a fun day out.!
The apartment has a large shared pool for adults and a small pool for children. Well kept gardens complete the scene. Being on the top floor ensures privacy and really outstanding views in almost all directions, Patio doors lead from the dining area onto a large terrace with table and chairs for al fresco dining and watching the sunsets with a glass of wine. A second smaller balcony leads off of the double bedroom. The accommodation is ideal for families or couples, with plenty to see and do in the area.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
Yalikavak holds many delights and is not just another holiday resort, but is also a thriving , working community. Originally a small fishing port, it now boasts a new Marina and many restaurants, some specialising in fish dishes. There is a weekly market on Thursdays, many shops, some of which are set under a ceiling of raffia, intertwined with plants to protect you from the sun. Here you will find both tourists and locals enjoying a drink and the social ambiance. Be assured of a warm welcome in Yalikavak, as the Turkish people are very hospitable and cannot do enough to help you. As this area is on the Aegean, there is a lovely breeze even in summer, which is welcome in the hottest months. With a hire car or by using the Dolmus buses, really nice days out can be spent exploring this area, and local towns, villages and beaches can be reached usually within thirty minutes or so.
Bodrum / Yalikavak area
For those that enjoy water sports, Xuma Beach Club is well worth a visit, where you can enjoy the private beach and other facilities. For more information about towns and villages in this area look at www.yalikavak.co.uk Bodrum is a much larger town with many places of interest to explore, St. Peter`s Castle, A water park, Mausoleum etc. plus many shops. There are also Gulet boat cruises to book at the Marina. A must is to experience a real Turkish Bath / Massage (Hamam). You will feel very relaxed afterwards.
How to get there
Flights go direct to Bodrum from many UK airports , approx. 4 hours flight time. Airport transfers are available from our local agent (Clovervillasalesandrentals.com) and cost approx. £35 each way for up to four persons. If car hire is arranged with Clover, then the transfers are free. Time from airport to Apartment is 35 minutes. Book your flights early to obtain the best prices and times. Further details indoors: The lounge / dining and kitchen areas are in the open plan style. There is a large L shaped settee with matching additional seat, coffee table , sideboard , Satellite TV (Digiturk) with BBC / CNN and many english speaking channels. Too many other channels to list here. DVD player (also plays CD`s). A selection of DVD`s and books are for your use during your stay. In the dining area there is a table and four chairs, with patio doors leading to main terrace. The kitchen is very well equipped and has full sized fan oven and electric hob. All the necessary utensils are provided. All beds are provided with good quality linen and also lightweight duvets for early season visitors. Both bedrooms have wardrobes and bedside tables and lamps The apartment has full air conditioning / heating and is very effective. The bathroom is fully tiled and has both bath and shower. A clothes airer and ironing board are provided for your convenience. All linen and towels are provided and cleaning is arranged with our local agent (Sheval of Clover Ltd )
Further details outdoors: The apartment is part of a small select complex, built in a curve, overlooking the shared gardens and swimming pools, and also the stunning views over the Bay of Yalikavak There is a resident caretaker / gardener named Halil, who is very friendly and so helpful (limited english). Halil will call you a local taxi to go to the centre or connect with the dolmus (Bus) system. Taxis cost approx 8 lira each way. ( £1 = 2.5 lira approx.) Ideally a hire car is best, as it gives you the freedom to explore at leisure. Car parking is available near to the entrance to the site.

Conditions
Smokers are requested not to smoke in the apartment, smoking only on the terraces please. A non refundable deposit of £100 is required to secure the booking . We recommend that you are covered by travel insurance in the event of cancellation. Balance of payment due to be paid eight weeks prior to starting date of holiday. No refunds if booking cancelled within eight weeks of starting date of holiday. A receipt and local map of area will be sent to you. If booking date is less than eight weeks from starting date of holiday then full payment to be made.
