Bodrum / Central Bodrum area

Bodrum is a fascinating and beautiful peninsular dotted with villages, all with their own particular charm, character and atmosphere. Bodrum itself offers different aspects depending on your point of view. firstly it is the ancient city of Halicarnassus - with ruins and historic monuments on every corner including the crusader castle and the Roman amphitheatre. Bodrum is also a cosmopolitan tourist destination of the 21st century, a playground suitable for all ages and bank accounts. Restaurants abound and bars are legion. During the summer months there is a jazz festival as well as numerous performances of music, dance and theatre. There are also at least 4 permanent art exhibitions.

How to get there

Fly to Turkey - Bodrum airport, this is 35 Km from Bodrum centre.
Car hire can be arranged by us, Return transfers from and to the airport can be arranged. Up to 3 persons £50, Up to 6 persons £90.
Local taxis available from the airport, but be wary the price is double, 00.00 - 08.00.
