Set amongst mandarin and olive orchards our newly built 2 bed apartment is spacious and private, tucked away in a quiet part of town 5 minutes flat walk to the centre and only 10 minutes stroll to the beaches, harbour and restaurants of the cosmopolitan fishing village of Yalikavak.( dubbed the St. Tropez of Bodrum). Great for families and couples alike who can enjoy a relaxing atmosphere on the small complex of 1 villla and 4 apartments sharing gardens and pool. Leading from the living room is a large terrace where you can enjoy alfresco dining whilst watching the fabulous sunsets and mountain vistas. There are many local attractions including the weekly market for bargain hunting, boat trips from the harbour, water sports from the nearby beach clubs and a 20 minute Dolmus (mini bus) ride takes you to the hustle and bustle of Bodrum town.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
The Turkish Aegean coast is a paradise of sun, sea, mountains and lakes and offers you a complete change from the stress and strain of everyday life. From March to November this idylic corner of the world offers the perfect climate for relaxing on the beach or enjoying the tranquility of the surrounding countryside. The area of Bodrum retains its traditional qualities and atmosphere and the people are renowned for their warmth and hospitality. The delicious local mediterranean food is fresh, healthy and colourful and is still remarkably cheap.
The Aegean coastline is a sea lovers paradise and is considered the most beautiful sailing area of the mediterranean.History and archaeology abound in this region with remains of amphitheatres, churches, tombs and towns of numerous ancient civilizations.
The climate is superb all year round on this Aegean peninsula. The sun shines 300 days a year and although the peak months are hot the humidity is low and in Yalikavak in particular a lovely cooling breeze makes it more comfortable. Sea temperatures are excellent all year round which makes Bodrum great for swimming, sailing, snorkelling and windsurfing at any time.
Bodrum / Yalikavak area
Yalikavak use to be an old fishing harbour but has now grown with the addition of a new multi million pound yachting marina and now being dubbed the St Tropez of the Bodrum peninsula. It is a beautiful resort with a mix of old and new blending to make a traditional, warm friendly atmosphere. The restaurants in the centre and around the old harbour are popular with locals and visitor alike. The local markets and bazaars provide a great shopping experience and the weekly thursday market is the largest open air market on the peninsula. The waterpark is only a 20 minute Dolmus(local bus) ride away and a great day out for the kids and adults! From Bodrum harbour ferries can take you to the Greek island of Kos or further afield to Rhodes. Daily boat trips on traditional Gulets (wooden boats) can be taken from Bodrum or Yalikavak and are great fun and inexpensive. Fantastic archaeological sites can be visited with nearby rock tombs, deserted villages and of course Bodrums castle and the ancient mausoleum, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Further afield you can visit Ephesus, Pamukkale and the temple of apollo at Didim. Bodrum is also the place to go for its nightlife. Halikarnos disco is the biggest open air disco in Europe and a mecca for all night owls.

Charter and Scheduled flights are available to Bodrum Milas airport. Main charter operators from the UK are are Thomsonfly, flythomascook, Monarch, Mytravel, Onur Air and Excel Airways. Scheduled flights from Turkish Airlines, British Airways, Cyprus Turkish Airlines and Easyjet stop in Istanbul with shuttle flights (1 hour) from Istanbul to Bodrum. Flights are also available to Izmir or Dalaman with 3 hour transfer to Bodrum
Airport transfer and local car hire can be arranged with transfers costing £30 each way per car and car hire about £20-30 a day depending on time of year.

Further details indoors: The newly built 'designer' apartment was built by a German architect who has introduced western build quality giving the apartment excellent modern features and superb insulation, so you can enjoy a cool sanctuary during the heat of the day. Our first floor apartment has a large master bedroom with feature circular window, kingsize bed and ceiling fan. The smaller bedroom is equipped with 2 single beds also with ceiling fan. The luxury bathroom has a large power/ massager shower and also includes a washing machine. The separate kitchen has oven/hob, fridgefreezer, microwave and all the usual utensils. Drinking water dispenser delivering instant ice cold or piping hot water. The large living area has a double bed settee for extra guests and a TV/DVD with music and film library. Walk out onto the spacious terrace for alfresco dining and to take in the far reaching mountain views.
Further details outdoors: The complex is surrounded by parkland and orchards filled with fig, olive, lemon and mandarin trees. A small private lane leads to the complex with no passing traffic giving a sense of peace in a countryside environment. The good sized pool nestles between the properties and sunbathing terraces. Only 5 properties sharing grounds so never becomes crowded. Security roller shutters on all windows which also helps to keep the apartment cool.

Rental price includes water, electricity, gas and air con. Welcome pack and first day guided tour of town can be arranged. Swimming pool open from easter through to 31st october. Clean linen and towels provided weekly.

25% deposit required - non refundable. Remainder due 8 weeks before arrival date. Booking form will be forwarded once enquiry received. No smoking or pets allowed. Breakages deposit required with final payment of £150 refunded on your arrival back home. 5% discount for 2 weeks or more.
