About the home

Situated in a brand new development close to the centre of Yalikavik, this fully air-conditioned apartment offers a great getaway to couples or family groups. With poolside view you can watch the kids from the terrace. Everything you need is situated in the apartment or on-site.
Yalikavik is a vibrant town (described in the Sunday Times Travel supplement as "the Beverley Hills of Bodrum" ) with a mixture of traditional and modern Marina Resort sitting comfortably side by side. Watch the locals play dominos, try bartering in the local shops or buy buy buy at the weekly market. If that sounds like too much work then simply have a romantic meal overlooking the marina!

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

The Bodrum Peninsula has a perfect Mediterranean climate and the summer runs between May and October. The weather is reliable and rain virtually unheard of. Summer temperatures range from the low 20°Cs at the beginning of the season to the low 30°Cs.

Winters are mild you can still get the chance to dip in the sea in November. This is a great all year round holiday destination.

The Bodrum / Yalikavak area

Yalikavak used to be an old fishing harbour but has now been dubbed the St Tropez of the Bodrum peninsula with its new multi-million pound marina. www.portbodrum.com. (Referred to as "the Beverley Hills of Bodrum"- Sunday Times travel supplement April 19 2009)
Its a beautiful resort and only a 10 minute walk from the apartment
It is a small but busy centre and a harbour where visiting yachts and fishing boats moor cheerfully together. The restaurants in the town centre and on the sea front are popular with locals and tourists alike. It is also comfortable to sit in a waterside cafe and watch the world go by.
The local markets and bazzars are a must. The weekly market Thurs is the largest open air market on the Bodrum peninsula.
The waterpark is only 20mins on the dolmus (local bus) and down by the harbour there are small rides for children to go on. Those wishing to venture a bit further take the ferry from Bodrum to Greek Island of Kos. There are many boat trips available from both harbours. There are many land based places to visit. These include Ephesus, the largest archaeoligical site in the world, the stunning pools of pamukkale, the royal rock tombs at Dalyan, the temple of apollo at Didim or St Peter's bulit by the crusaders in Bodrum itself. The world famous Camel Beach is only 30 mins away by car.
