A lovely apartment, ideal for couples and families, enjoying spectacular sea views. Seaview Residence is a beautifully presented apartment complex in an exceptional location just 100 m from the beach and 500 m from Güllük centre. The apartment is located on the second floor and has a large open plan living / dining area, separate kitchen, two bedrooms, one shower room and two terraces. The apartment was completed in July 2006 and is finished and furnished to a very high standard.
The apartment sleeps up to 4 guests, with one spacious air-conditioned double bedroom and one spacious twin bedroom, again air-conditioned. Both bedrooms have ample storage and access to a terrace with views of the swimming pool and out to sea. The bedrooms are serviced by one modern, fully tiled shower room. The spacious living room is air-conditioned and has access to the main terrace. The living room is furnished to a high standard and comes with a 32 LCD TV, DVD/CD player, satellite TV and surround sound speaker system. The fully fitted kitchen contains an integrated hob with extractor, freestanding fridge, dishwasher, kettle and toaster. Cutlery and crockery for 6 is provided. A washing machine and drying rack are also provided within the apartment.

Güllük is an authentic fishing village, which is becoming increasingly popular as a tourist destination. Known as the fishing paradise of Turkey, it is not surprising that the town of Güllük is famous for its fish restaurants, where sea bass and sea bream are a speciality. The harbour provides a vibrant spot where fishing boats moor alongside yachts, and locals and tourists mingle along the promenade. During the evenings, the centre of Güllük is closed to road traffic and people spill over into the streets and dine at open-air cafes and restaurants fronting the promenade.
Güllük enjoys the enviable position of being in a quiet and peaceful location but it is by no means remote. Of its many plus points, one is Güllüks location and accessibility. The international airport at Bodrum Milas is a mere 10 minutes drive away, with the vibrant town of Bodrum just 30 minutes to the south.

With a huge range of activities, the area attracts visitors from around the world, who come to sample the excitement of the cosmopolitan harbour town of Bodrum and the tranquillity and breathtaking scenery of the surrounding villages.
Bodrum / Gulluk area
--Güllük--
Güllük, in Turkish, means place of roses and that probably gives more than a good first impression and introduction to this beautiful location on the Aegean Sea. Güllük is set in a protected bay on the Aegean coast and enjoys glorious, romantic sunsets. Surrounded by forests, olive, almond and orange plantations, the Bay of Güllük is full of small-unspoilt bays, coves and beaches.
Many ask why Güllük has only become known in very recent times. Güllük is enjoying a renaissance brought about by the relocation of the port area in the centre of the town. The old port has moved to a new site several kilometres away and this has cleared the way for tourism to flourish in the town and surrounding area. The plans for Güllük are very exciting and tourism experts have already referred to it as the future Portofino of Turkey. High praise indeed and thus the perfect holiday location for those seeking quiet and peaceful surroundings.
A recently opened Migros supermarket (equivalent to Tesco in the UK) is located just 10 minutes walk from the apartment (or a 2 minute drive or ride on the regular Shuttle Bus). Excursions and trips can be booked at one of the booking offices in Güllük centre. You will also find a number of bars, restaurants, banks, shops and internet cafes located here. A Turkish Baths is due to open in the summer of 2008 in the main square.
Sailing is very popular around the Bodrum Peninsula. The coastline of south western Turkey is consistently chosen by sea lovers from all over the world as the most beautiful cruising area of the Mediterranean. If you are interested in history and archaeology, you will agree that these shores are like an open air museum. Throughout your excursion you are likely to see the remains of amphitheatres, markets, churches, tombs and towns of the Lydian, Lycian, Carian, Ionian, Dorian, Hellenic and Roman civilizations.
--Climate--
The sun shines endlessly on the Bodrum peninsula, from May to October, with very little humidity. Whilst the peak summer months of July and August can be quite hot, Güllük has the added benefit of always having a lovely sea breeze, keeping the temperature some 2 to 3°C cooler in peak season.

With sea temperatures ranging from 25 to 16 °C between summer and winter, Güllük is a great location for swimming, sailing and watersports at any time of the year.
How to get there
Fly to either Bodrum Milas International Airport (BJV) or Dalaman International Airport (DLM) using one of the many budget or charter airlines. Direct flights are available from the vast majority of UK Airports. Güllük is just a 10 minute drive from Bodrum Airport and a 3 hour drive from Dalaman Airport.

Car hire is available at both airports and can be arranged beforehand. Transfers can also be arranged, further details on request. Alternately at Bodrum Airport, there are regular Mini-buses (Dolmüs) travelling to Güllük as well as a Taxi stand.

Cleaning and linen change at the end of your holiday are included in the price. However, if you book for two weeks, a mid term towel and linen change is included, but not an apartment clean. Beach towels are not provided, please bring your own. Please do not use the apartment towels for either the beach or swimming pool.
A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required on booking and the balance payable 6 weeks prior to departure, or immediately if booking is made within 6 weeks of departure date. A refundable security deposit of £250 is required against breakages and damage, which will be refunded within 10 days of return of the apartment keys, providing our agent has found everything to be in order after checking the apartment inventory.
