The villa is tastefully decorated in a light and stylish contemporary style. The open plan living and dining area is uncluttered yet can easily support 6 / 8 people. The living area furniture is comfortable comprising of sofas, TV, coffee table and various ornaments, pictures and artifacts.

The layout ensures maximum free space while providing everything you might need. The patio doors lead out from the lower bedroom onto the garden and splash pool plus you have both a balcony and a roof terrace with views across the sea and the resort.

A children's slide pool is just a few meters from the apartment - you can keep an eye on the kids why you enjoy a peaceful afternoon on the sun terrace.

The bedrooms are furnished with double & twin beds and are perfect for couples, families or friends sharing. The resort is a particular favourite with golfers playing on Vita Park Golf Resort less than ten minutes by car from the apartment. Each room has storage space and bedside tables with reading lights. The curtains are light and fully in keeping with the décor in the rooms. Each bedroom leads out to a small patio. The master bedroom has an on-suite bathroom.

The kitchen is integral with the living area which is ideal for preparing food while keeping an eye on the kids. We have provided everything you will need to make your stay a home form home should you wish to prepare serve food in the apartment. You can also choose to eat inside or outside on the terraces which offer wonderful views of the Aegean Sea.

Sunny Lawn Villa is the perfect place to unwind and soak up the sunshine. The meandering pathways lead you from the villa to the resorts central amenities (clubhouse, bar and restaurant, indoor pool etc) and to the beach club where you have panoramic views of the blue Aegean Sea and the headland beyond.

The views from our terraces are excellent. Here you can enjoy outdoor living to the full while marveling in the superb views.

The villa is finished in a please off-white staccato finish and the balconies are adorned with safety glass walls and tiled floors. A table and chairs seating 6 completes the picture giving you plenty of scope for outdoor living.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

Turkey's Aegean coast is beautiful, historic and agriculturally rich. The most spectacular of the classical sites are along the Aegean Coast, stretching from the northern border with Greece south to Bodrum. The treasures include the 3,000-year-old ruins of Troy, made famous by the poet Homer; the ruins of the fabled city of Pergamum, on its windswept hilltop; and the magnificent temples, colonnaded streets, and the theatre in Ephesus.

This is the heart of what was once known by the ancient Greeks as Asia Minor, an area that's been drawing visitors since the time of, well, Homer. Izmir, a busy port town that is Turkey's third-largest city, is a good gateway for exploring the area, with regular flights to and from Istanbul and some European destinations.

Near Izmir is the Çesme peninsula, home to some lovely sandy beaches and the cobblestoned town of Alaçati. The area's heavyweight attraction, though, is the Roman city of Ephesus, with its well-preserved amphitheatre and library.

In this region are also the less-visited, though still impressive, ruins of the ancient cities of Didyma, Miletus, and Hierapolis. For a taste of up-to-date Turkey, head to Bodrum, which is getting the reputation of being the St. Tropez of Turkey with its profusion of seaside restaurants and swank cafés and nightclubs, visitors can get strong doses of sun and (mostly sophisticated) fun.

Bodrum, formerly Halicarnassus is an important Turkish port in Mugla Province. It is located on the Bodrum Peninsula, near the northwest entrance to the Gulf of Gökova, and faces the Greek island of Kos. Today, it is a major centre for tourism and yachting. The city was called Halicarnassus of Caria in ancient times. The Mausoleum of Mausolus was there, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The region includes the municipalities of Bodrum, Turgutreis, Ortakent, Turkbuku, Yalikavak, Gumusluk which are composed of a number of recent tourist-oriented developments alongside older village centres.

Bodrum Castle, built by the Crusaders overlooks the harbour and the International Marina. The castle grounds includes a Museum of Underwater Archaeology and hosts several cultural festivals throughout the year. The castle is open to visitors and is a superb example of 11th century design and engineering. From the castle you have stunning views of the town and out to see toward Kos.

The harbour side in Bodrum is home to millions of pounds worth of yachts (more commonly called gullets) as well as more humble craft and water taxis. You can take a water taxi to various locations including many of the hotels which overlook the harbour. Along the harbour you can enjoy fine food and wine in a relaxed environment with the majority of the restaurants and bars serving food alfresco. As the major town on the Bodrum peninsula it is also the hub for the local Dolmush which can transport you at virtually no cost to almost anywhere on the peninsula. Even the furthest journey will cost less than £2 at today's prices.

Lake Tuzla is located about 25 minutes from Bodrum Town and 10 minutes from Milas-Bodrum International Airport. Flamingo Country Club, which consitss of 6 spectacular linked-resorts, is situated on the Northern slope of Lake Tuzla with stunning views of the lake and hills beyond. Just 5 minutes from the resort, a short drive around the lakeside, is Vita Park Golf Resort, Bodrums first and only PGA quality golf club with two world-beating golf courses, the Milas par-71, a Scottish Links style pay and play public course and the Halikarnas par-71, a members only Arizona style course.

During the period October to April, Lake Tuzla is home to 1000's of migrating and local wildfowl. These included flamingos and pelicans as well as many rare and beautiful birds and mammals. Lake Tuzla is a national reserve and is protected by the Turkish government.

Royal Heights is fast becoming the premier holiday resort on Lake Tuzla, Bodrum with excellent air links to all major European and UK airports. The closest airport to the resort is Milas-Bodrum International Airport, just 15 minutes by car or taxi. This airport serves the Bodrum peninsula with direct flights between April and November making Royal Heights accessible for 7 months of the year.

All major tour operators fly into Bodrum including Easyjet, Thomas Cook, Thompson and a host of international and Turkish airlines. Outside of these months, you can get indirect flights via Istanbul. Due to the fact that the resort is located close to a national reserve, flights do not pass directly over the lake which maintains a peaceful tranquillity throughout the year.

Transfers to the resort from the airport can be arranged for you or, for parties of 4 or less, simply jump in one of the many taxis outside of the arrivals hall. The cost of a transfer to the resort - this takes about 15 minutes - is approx. £25. Alternatively, we can help organise a hire car to meet you on arrival.

You can also reach the Royal Heights resort by car from Izmir (about 4 hours to the north) and Dalaman to the east - about 21/2 hours away. These are large airports offering excellent pricing opportunity.

For the more adventurous at heart, there are also regular ferries to and from Kos & Rhodes during the summer months making it possible to fly to Kos and then travel to Bodrum (or vice versa) via ferry and then on to Flamingo Country Club.

With regards car hire, there are many low cost care hire companies on the Bodrum peninsula with rates from as low as £21 per day. We can help you with car hire, airport transfers and taxi hire should you wish. The large number of local taxi and Dolmush (Turkish buses) means that getting around the Bodrum peninsula is neither expensive or difficult.
