About the home

This is an upper floor apartment of a privately owned, 2 apartment villa.
It has a spacious, open plan lounge and kitchen area, which opens on to a large balcony, overlooking the pool and garden area. There are two bedrooms. The double, en suite,bedroom has a patio door which opens to overlook the pool area. The second, twin bedroom has a second bathroom adjacent .
.( a bed settee in the lounge area could accommodate one adult or two children )

The apartment is situated in a small quiet, beautifully landscaped complex of 8 properties, each with 2 apartments) with a large adjacent swimming pool.

The property is only a 5 to 10 minute walk from the nearest beach and a 10 to 15 minute walk from the small fishing village of Yalikavak, with its beaches and myriad of waterside restaurants, bars,small local shops and its exciting weekly Thursday market.

This is an ideal holiday spot for couples and families, with something to suit all ages from the water parks to designer shopping in the Oasis shopping centre in the outskirts of Bodrum.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

The Bodrum area of the Aegean coast is one of the most beautiful parts of turkey. There are a number of small fishing villages and resorts around the coast each with something unique to offer. Many of these beaches offer a range of water sports. Accessible attractions include Ephesus, the largest archaeological site in the world; the stunning pools of Pamukkale ; the temple of Apollo at Didim and St. Peter's Castle just 10 miles away in Bodrum.

Many trips to places of interest can be arranged by agents in the village of Yalikavak, and you can be picked up directly from the apartment if required.

Why not try a Turkish Hammam ( steam bath ) at the nearby Rayola Hammam ( 3miles away).
Temperatures in the summer months can reach 40 but there is a lovely cool wind from the sea that makes it quite comfortable

The Bodrum / Yalikavak area

Yalikavak is a traditional Turkish fishing village on the Aegean coast.
Most amenities can be reached from the apartments without the use of a car.

The Thursday village market is a bright and colourful affair (be prepared to barter for some great bargains)
The village has several palm fringed beaches that you can stroll along

There are a number of waterside restaurants giving a wide choice of international fare and some specialising in locally caught sea food.

As well as the good food and wine, there are many activities for children, from the water park near Bodrum through horse riding to just a great day on the beach. All meals, beers and wines are very affordable.
Spellbinding sunsets end sun packed days.
