Ideal for Couples seeking a relaxing holiday. Picturesque Location with beautiful views and only a 4-5 minute walk to the small town where the locals are helpful and friendly. (This walk is quite a safe walk which is well lit at night-time)
The apartment is approx 95sq Metres and can accommodate up to 6 Adults (or 4 Adults / 4 Children). There are 2 bedrooms, 1 with Double bed, 1 With 2 Singles. The Living room contains 2 Comfortable double Sofa beds and CD/DVD Player.

--Güllük--

Güllük, in Turkish, means “place of roses” and that probably gives more than a good first impression and introduction to this beautiful location on the Aegean Sea. Güllük is set in a protected bay on the Aegean coast and enjoys glorious, romantic sunsets. Surrounded by forests, olive, almond and orange plantations, the Bay of Güllük is full of small-unspoilt bays, coves and beaches.

Many ask why Güllük has only become known in very recent times. Güllük is enjoying a renaissance brought about by the relocation of the port area in the centre of the town. The old port has moved to a new site several kilometres away and this has cleared the way for tourism to flourish in the town and surrounding area. The plans for Güllük are very exciting and tourism experts have already referred to it as the future “Monte Carlo of Turkey”. High praise indeed and thus the perfect holiday location for those seeking quiet and peaceful surroundings.

A recently opened Migros supermarket (equivalent to Tesco in the UK) is located just 6 minutes walk from the apartment (or a 2 minute drive). Excursions and trips can be booked at one of the booking offices in Güllük centre. You will also find a number of bars, restaurants, banks, shops and internet cafes located here.

Sailing is very popular around the Bodrum Peninsula. The coastline of south western Turkey is consistently chosen by sea lovers from all over the world as the most beautiful cruising area of the Mediterranean. If you are interested in history and archaeology, you will agree that these shores are like an open air museum. Throughout your excursion you are likely to see the remains of amphitheatres, markets, churches, tombs and towns of the Lydian, Lycian, Carian, Ionian, Dorian, Hellenic and Roman civilizations.

--Climate--

The sun shines endlessly on the Bodrum peninsula, from May to October, with very little humidity. Whilst the peak summer months of July and August can be quite hot, Güllük has the added benefit of always having a lovely sea breeze, keeping the temperature some 2 to 3°C cooler in peak season.

Average Güllük monthly temperatures in °C (F) are as follows:

May 26 (79), June 29 (84), July 33 (91), August 34 (93), Sept 29 (84), Oct 24 (75)

With sea temperatures ranging from 25 to 16 °C between summer and winter, Güllük is a great location for swimming, sailing and watersports at any time of the year.

How to get there

Fly direct to Bodrum from any UK Airport.
Flights available through most major UK Tour Operators.
Property is 10-15 Minutes drive from the Airport. (Car rental available from the Airport if required)
Taxis are available at the airport and are not very expensive.
There is a very good regular and reliable bus (Dolmus) service to and From Bodrum, it cost just 5YTL (€2.90) one way. Bus station is a 4 minute walk from the Apartment.

* This area may not be safe for young children as the sea must be accessed by 4-5 steps (with handrail)

While Children are welcome to the complex, it should be noted that the Beachside area may not be suitable for young children.
