About the home

This cutting edge designed townhouse is part of new luxury resort with all amenities on site. The architect is Ev Talu who is a household name in Turkey and internationally, having worked with Microsoft and Coca Cola to name a couple of his clients. The house has been finished to impeccable standards of quality and comfort with the most amazing views. The property has 2 bedrooms, one en suite and is fully fitted from flat screen TV to cutlery. There is free wireless connectivity across the resort.

The master bedroom is complete with double bed, mirrored wardrobes, en suite bathroom comprising of his and her sinks, soft closing toilet, bath and shower. The second bedroom is complete with 2 single beds, a travel cot and mirrored wardrobes. There is a separate shower room opposite the second bedroom complete with sink and toilet and this is where the washing machine is housed. Both bedrooms have glass sliding doors opening on to a small garden which over looks the sea and across to the next penninsular.

The lounge area has breathtaking sea views from the magnificent 15m2 terrace, accessed from 2 large glass sliding patio doors. The kitchen is fully fitted with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven & hob, extractor, crockery, cutlery,cookware and glasses complete for 6 guests. Dining table and chairs complete the open plan lounge. Located at the entrance is a single cupboard for storage. Built and furnished to the highest standards this apartment offers luxury and convenience.

This beautiful town house is in it's third letting season, hence everything is smart and well maintained , from the LCD television to the soft furnishings and you will enjoy free internet wireless around the pool bar. The tennis court will be open mid summer 2013.

Further details outdoors:
The main pool area is at the bottom of the complex, also in the area is a snack bar, mini market, grill restaurant, pool bar, outside dining, together with decking, sunloungers and parasols. The main pool is divided on two levels with waterfalls and a walk in area to the shallow end. A children's pool is separate and alongside the main pool and on the first level of the pool is the jacuzzi. A children's play area also close to the pool. There is a second pool located near to the top of the complex. If you are looking for a quieter sunbathing & relaxing area, then this is the spot for you. There is extensive communal landscaping throughout the complex featuring over 40 types of exotic plants, tress and shrubs which combine to ensure a tranquil, harmonious setting.

In order not to restrict your holiday, smokers are welcome but smoking is only permitted on the balcony.

The Bodrum / Gulluk area

The area has much historical and cultural significance, ideally located for air travel being close proximity of Bodrum International airport. On arrival at the airport, a water taxi will complete your trip, depending on your arrival time, in around 25 minutes from the characteristic and colourful fishing town of Gulluk, with a marina and many fine promenade restaurants, bars and al fresco eateries.

The castle town of Bodrum can be reached easily by water taxi from Torba, a pretty and peaceful coastal village set below a picturesque mountain backdrop. Alternatively a 25 minute drive from Guluck will take you to Bodrum - a buzzing, thriving artisan community where traditions goes hand in hand with designer labels, jewellery, leather goods amid street markets and endless local cuisine.

The marina at Bodrum has lots of options for boat rental either daily cruise or Gullet cruise for 3/7 days along the Turkish coastline or a day trip over to the Greek island of Kos on the hydrafoil. Eating out in Turkey offers infinite possibilities, in addition to those traditional Turkish fare, one can find cuisine from all around the globe. Sampling the delights of the regions cuisine is in itself an adventure. Must trys include Su Boregi (layers of filo pastry baked with cheese), Kopoglu (fried aubergine & yoghurt) Turkish balloon bread is best consumed alongside a variety of meze, this also goes well with a local drink called Raki a liqueur produced from anise. Fresh fish is in great supply along with the grilled lamb and kebabs, don't forget too sample the Turkish mint tea - thought to be one of the best ways of cooling down on a hot summer's day.

“luxurious, relaxing and enjoyable” Amanda was extremely helpful, the property itself was well maintained and better than the photos. it was easy to get to with a good boat service and the people running horizon sky were very efficient (apart from the lady who oversees the properties-she is not well organised). it was a case of enforced r and r, nothing to do at the resort except be with your family, swim-find the upper pool in orange grove-no one goes there and it is beautiful. we caught the boat to gulluk regularly for food and provisions, cooked at home and had a really lovely time. The pool bar is full of Brits, so there are lots to see and do there and the food is ok, internet is almost non exstent. We had a lovely time, many thanks so Amanda, we thoroughly recommend your villa and you for the excellent service.

“More than what we'd wished for, and then some!!” Starting with the airport transfers, everything went like clockwork, Amanda's apartment was fantastically appointed throughout. Ideally located on the edge of the complex, not too far from the main pool/bar area and the little shop and veg man outside. You could have been forgiven for thinking you were in your own private villa, as we had 3 fab pools all to ourselves. Food and drink prices in the complex were just as competitive as elsewhere outside the supermarkets. The boat trips across to Gulluk were very relaxing and enjoyable. Staff couldn't do enough for you. Make no mistakes the gradient in the complex is a challenge in the August heat, but it did not detract from our total enjoyment of the whole place. The only disappointing thing................... having to come home!!!
