Set in a court yard style with 4 other homes, this delightful cottage is newly renovated and combines country cottage charm with a fresh, contempory style.The open plan kitchen and living area provides comfortable seating and dining for 4 people. A deep window seat provides an additional place to linger and the log burner provides a perfect backdrop to a cosy night in.
The well equipped kitchen with solid wood worktops has all new appliances, including an electric hob and oven, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge and small freezer. There's a Nespresso coffee maker, toaster and microwave for your convenience.
In the living area there is a comfy sofa, 2 armchairs and solid wood dining table and chairs. The wall mounted TV and built in DVD player or the shelves of books and games provide the entertainment. There is wi-fi access too.
The bathroom is fresh and vibrant. It is fully tiled and has a full size bath, powerful shower, WC., basin, mirrored cupboard and heated towel rail. Furnished with local toiletries and candles, it's a perfect place for pampering as well as practical for getting the children clean and ready for a deep, uninterrupted slumber.
Upstairs, the master double bedroom continues the crisp, fresh theme, with exposed beams and chandeliered ceiling and decorated in cool, relaxing tones. It houses a wardrobe, chest of drawers, a wall mounted TV, a full length and dressing table mirror, hairdryer and a generous, padded window seat, which provides a perfect spot for book reading, nature spotting and is also the best place in the cottage for a mobile phone reception.
Bedroom 2 is set up with a single bed and pull out bed under to make a full size double bed or two singles next to each other. There is plenty of storage space and like all the rooms has black out blinds to ensure a blissful night's sleep uninterrupted by the enchanting Cornish light.
Outside the front door is a perfect place to enjoy a coffee on the wooden bench, relish a few moments in the sun or wait for the rest of the family to join you for an exploration outdoors. The shared garden is to the side of the cottages and offers a large, sloping grassed area with seating and is surrounded by apple trees and shrubs. It catches the sun for most of the day and is perfect for barbecues or playing games with the family.
A lockable shed is useful for hanging wetsuits, storing bikes or surf boards. There is off road parking for up to two cars.

The West Country region
Cornwall has something for everyone. Major attractions include the Eden Project, Land's End, St Michale's Mount and the bustling, vibrant resort of St Ives with it's branch of the Tate gallery or a selection of sleepy fishing villages. Children are well catered for with amusement parks, travelling theatres and of course the beaches. You can drive the length of the county in an hour, so it can all be done in a day trip.
Whether it is the wild of Bodmin Moor, walking the coast path or camel trail, visiting the Eden project and Lost Gardens of Heligan, or sightseeing the South coast, you are never more than 15 miles away from the cottage.
Tucked away at the end of a no through lane, Merlins at Trelill Cottages is a truly tranquil setting, with only the odd passing seagull to disturb the peace. The cottage offers an idyllic, get-away-from-it-all retreat. Trelill is a peaceful hamlet, with plenty of lovely walks across open countryside and is just 2 miles from the A39 Atlantic Highway, where there is a pub, convenience store, fish and chips, farm shop, cafe and restaurant. From the Atlantic Highway take your pick from any of the stunning beaches nearby. Polzeath, Rock and Daymer bay are 15 minutes away and picturesque Port Isaac, in the other direction is 4 miles away. Trebarwith Strand and Tintagel are a short drive North East. Padstow, with it's harbour, Rick Stein empire, excellent restaurants and shops, as well as a selection of beaches, is 10 miles to the West.
The bustling market town of Wadebridge has something for everyone and is a 10 minute drive away. The high street has a selection of individual shops and cafes, it's the place to buy your groceries, either from the independents or from a selection of large supermarkets.

"Idyllic cottage in peaceful location, fully modernised without losing it's charming character"
Set in a small village this charming cottage has all you could need for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. Fully modernised but still has the character. Close to Padstow, Port Issac, Rock and Polzeath with a great pub a couple of miles down the road serving excellent food. A great location for exploring Cornwall and only a few miles from some stunning beaches and the beatuiful seascape vistas.
