BEAUTIFULLY REFURBISHED 17TH CENTURY FORMER MILKING PARLOUR

The property, whose name is Cornish for milking parlour, nestles in a truly rural spot within the West Cornish countryside, between Lostwithiel and Fowey, in the village of Lanlivery.

Close to the Cornish Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve and Helman Tor, a picturesque rocky outcrop that is an undiscovered beauty spot with unspoilt country views. Perfect for walkers and dog owners of all abilities and ages, with the well-known Saints Way and Wilderness Trail that cross the moor and countryside. Easily accessed from the property is the National Cycle Network with many off-road trails and quiet country lanes to enjoy. There is even a direct route to The Eden Project, proclaimed as the "Eighth Wonder of the World". The market town of Lostwithiel is close by with shops, restaurants and pubs as well as Restormel Castle which overlooks the River Fowey, a pleasant location for a picnic. Fowey Regatta week (August) is a popular event, with competitive sailing events, street carnival, the Red Arrows display team and much more. The picturesque and unspoilt harbour of Charlestown is also worth a visit. Built in the early 19th century for the export of copper and china clay, it is home to a collection of old ships which have been used in film projects and its Shipwreck and Heritage Centre has the largest UK collection of artifacts and treasure recovered from shipwrecks. Also ideally placed to visit an array of National Trust properties including Lanhydrock House with its extensive grounds. The Eden Project and Bodmin Moor are also easily reached, as are the North Cornish coastal towns of Tintagel, Port Isaac, Boscastle and Padstow.
