The West Country region
In this area there are numerous beaches and quaint harbours.
With historic houses ( Lanhydrock, Pencarrow etc.)and attractions such as shipwreck museums, aquariums and the Eden Project there is plenty to do, no matter what the weather.
Put the car away for the day and walk or cycle the Camel Trail to find the local pub, Bodmin & Wenford Steam Railway and Camel Valley Vineyard.
Within 20 minutes drive you will find Lanhydrock House, Pencarrow House, the Eden Project, Wheal Martin china clay museum and other local attractions.

"Beautiful place to stay"
Our hosts made us more than welcome. Lovely accommodation for two - bright, cosy and cute! We will definitely return to Wits End. Nanstallon is well located for exploring with lots of day trips but you must have a car to stay here. Highly recommended.

"Excellent cottage in a beautiful village."
I have visited Cornwall each year from 2006 to 2011 and have stayed at Wits End in 2009, 2010 and 2011. This property is the best I have found in Cornwall, being very well equipped and having the added bonuses of the breakfast balcony, private garden area and off road parking. Being centrally situated the north, south and west coasts are all easily reached. I plan to visit other places this year so won't be visiting but I will be back next year.

"Super cottage for two"
This was our 4th visit, that says it all really! We have always found Witsend very comfortable and well equipped, with very friendly and helpful owners. It is well located to visit both North and South coasts, as well as Bodmin Moor. We would highly recommend, and certainly intend to return again ourselves.
