The property is situated in an area of outstanding beauty only 5 mins walk from a beautiful park and the shores of Lake Constance where the three countries of Switzerland, Austria and Germany meet. The idyllic setting makes this a holiday venue for winter ski ing or summer sailing, swimming, biking, culture at the Bregenz open air Opera and music Festival or just for relaxing in the tranquil summer sun an experience not to be missed. The garden apartment is brand new this April 2009 and equipped to a very high standard for our guests to be able to enjoy their holiday to the full. It has been inspected by the German Tourist board and received a three star award.
It is a unique experience being in the centre of Europe with a high standard of cleanliness and security with a feeling you have had excellent value for money. There is something for everyone here so don't miss out on this one !

The Bavaria / Bayern / Bayern/Bavarian Alps region
The region is one of outstanding local beauty with a Mediterranean climate which gives you bright blue skies, little wind but sometimes dramatic storms which you can watch actually happening across the water.
Lake Constance is one of the largest lakes in Europe on the edge of Bayern two hours away from Munich which is the capital city of Bayern. It is steeped in history and with spectacular countryside of mountains and rolling landscape with a mixture of apple orchards, vineyards and beautiful freshwater lakes.
Lindau is a medieval small town with a population of 3,000 people who live on this magical island in the lake. The villages and towns all around the lake are connected with a cycle way which allows you to get the best view of this diverse area.
There are so many interesting places to visit there is no space to list them all here , for all ages and suitable for all pockets.
Bodensee / Lindau area
There is a host of local places to visit and things to do that you are really spoilt for choice. There are the four countries next to each other Switzerland, Austria, Liechenstein and Germany itself with Italy only 3 hours away by road.
There are breathtaking views from the mountains and from the lakeside with modern efficient public transport connections. Spend all day on the lake with the ferry beats island hopping and visiting the various lakeside medieval towns with their vineyards and local specialities. Indulge yourself in any sport imaginable from swimming to waterskiing and be culturally invigorated with International classical music opera or rock concerts with the island of music events four times a year when all the bars have live music and are open until three am with the local bus accommodating drinkers at this late hour.
How to get there
There are daily Ryanair flights to Friedrichshafen airport which is only 30minutes away and to Memmingen and Zurich which are 90 minutes away. It is also a days drive from the UK mainland or a days train journey. Car hire from all the major car hire companies is available direct from the airports.
We can also provide transfers from the Friedrichshafen Airport if necessary. Transfers from Memmingen and Zurich by special request.

Further details indoors: All the interior facilities are brand new this year 2009 and are of the highest standard presented in a most attractive way for the use of guests. As the host also is resident in the house any immediate problems and enquiries can be dealt with.
The area is quiet and a prestigious suburb of Lindau which is an island in the lake of Constance. There is a bus stop outside the house and a parking space. The flat is situated on the ground floor. There is a fully fitted and equipped kitchen and a double bed sized 180cms wide 200 cms long. There is also a door out onto the terrace which is sheltered giving the flat a private feeling. There is laminated flooring and a heated towel radiator in the shower room.
Further details outdoors: There is garden furniture on the terrace which is sheltered by a roof and there is a sun lounger with cushions and dining table set with chairs. There is also a shared garden and access to the flat from the front and the rear garden side.
Only five minutes walk away is the most beautiful magnificent park on the lake shore where you can swim or take a ferry or sit and relax. There is also an indoor and outdoor swimming pool here as well as the facilities of a five star hotel available, beauty suite etc.
