Set in the delightful private country estate of Northwick Park, the former home of the Spencer-Churchill family, this property provides the ideal location as a peaceful retreat and as a base for exploring the delights of the Cotswolds.

The thirty-five acre estate has beautifully maintained formal gardens and lawns and is surrounded by a deer park inhabited by a range of wild-life. Originally constructed for the Barons of Northwick, the park has featured on the BBC programme 'Escape to the Country' on a number of occasions and has been described as 'a very special location'.

Not accessible to the general public, the property is approached down a long private drive, leading to a traffic free location.

Bright, spacious and stylishly furnished; there are two pairs of double doors opening onto the secluded south-facing garden which can be used for relaxation and alfresco meals.

To the front of the cottage is a delightful courtyard and views across to other character properties that form part of this historic country estate.

In the stunning surroundings of the north Cotswolds just a few miles from Blockley, Moreton in Marsh and Chipping Campden, Hunters Moon is ideal for a Cotswold break at any time of the year.

The Cotswolds region

From Windsor to the Welsh Borders our area offers a taste of what was and what is...fabulous properties of historic and architectural interest that sit alongside pretty tea rooms, gastro pubs, shops, restaurants etc etc!

In a simply stunning Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty are the Cotswolds with the unique honey-coloured stone, ancient woodlands and miles of rolling hills and over 3,000 miles of public footpaths. The rivers Windrush and Coln trickle their way through some of the prettiest Cotswold towns and villages you will ever come across, Burford, Bourton-on-the-Water and Bibury. Royal Berkshire and the Thames Valley are on the doorstep of the Capital. Stay in Windsor (with a royal neighbour!), be close to Henley-on-Thames famous for Henley Regatta or walk The Thames Path as the river meanders through rural villages, historic towns and peaceful water meadows before it reaches the Thames Barrier in the heart of London. From your 'own' front door you can explore the contrasts of Worcestershire, Herefordshire & Shropshire. Visit the theatres at Stratford-upon-Avon, walk the Ridgeway Path from the Thames in the west through to the atmospheric Chiltern Hills.

Our towns and villages optimise the English rural scene...cricket on the green, a glass of locally brewed beer, peace and quiet - lovely!

Blockley

The village of Blockley is a perfectly delightful village with a gently flowing mill stream. With a personality of its own reflecting a former life of working silk mills evidence of which can be seen in the pretty silk workers cottages creating a Cotswold village that is slightly different. This north Cotswolds village has much to offer giving an insight to life as it was. Lots of lovely walks, local pubs and well stocked local shops for spoil yourself Cotswold goodies!
