Forget-Me-Not Cottage is a victorian era cottage set in the heart of the Cotswolds, surrounded by rolling hills in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Ideally situated for complete relaxation, the cottage itself has been refurbished with modern amenities (such as wi-fi) whilst respecting the traditional cottage nature of the property. This ensures that Forget Me Not cottage capitalizes on the tranquil settings of surrounding landscape.

Upon arrival, guests are greeted with an established cottage garden featuring a bistro garden table and chairs as well as barbecue. An out-building enables storage and provides electrical outputs. Entering into the cottage, one can observe the lounge with exposed original flagstone floors and exposed beams. A wood burning stove supplements the cosiness of the room, even more so on a winters night. Furniture includes a leather lazy boy 2 seater recliner sofa, a Laura Ashley arm chair, an antique oak dining room table and two elm dining room chairs. These are all complimented with state of the art technology including internet, WIFI, land line, Ipod deck, DVD player and a high definition flat screen TV.

The kitchen, whilst compact has a double gas oven, dishwasher, washer/dryer and microwave. Cooking utensils and crockery are all provided. The window in the kitchen provides a nice view overlooking the front garden.

Upstairs, guests can relax in the spacious bedroom with a cream coloured, metal kingsize bed with an additional plasma screen TV and twin bed side cabinets, chest of drawers and wardrobe.

Within the tiled bathroom one can observe the double Mira shower, with a sink enclosed vanity unit and a WC.

The village has a unique collection of buildings that reflect the mill and silk production background of the area. This distinguishes Blockley from surrounding North Cotswold Villages.

Guest can experience local amenities such as community run shops and two pubs with restaurant facilities. In addition, Blockley is both a peaceful and charming village, with a mill stream winding its way through the bottom of the valley. With a variety of scenic walks leading from the village and surrounding countryside, Blockley has much to offer to the holiday maker. Its attractive village green overlooks the popular Bowling Green and beautiful Norman Church, of which the architecture itself is magnificent in its own right.

Blockley is situated in the north of the Cotswolds between Moreton-in-Marsh and Chipping Campden. It lies off the beaten track and is sheltered in a deep valley along the north-west side of the Blockley Brook.

The Cotswolds area is where one can observe some of the most picturesque villages that the UK has to offer. Visitors will not be surprised to learn that the Cotswolds is a designated 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beaty'. As an untouched area of outstanding natural beauty, with history and the charm of a idyllic village lifestyle, calling the cotswolds the pinnacle of the ideal country lifestyle is by no means an exaggeration.
