Experience a real taste of the Cotswolds in this spacious holiday cottage on Northwick Park, an exclusive country estate that has often been featured on national TV such is it's beauty.

A high standard has been retained throughout the cottage with the quality and style creating a comfortable Cotswold holiday cottage for 6. The spacious sitting room is really quite elegant; a large limestone fireplace is the centre piece with a wood burning stove. The kitchen is very well equipped with an 'island' breakfast table and for more formal dining there is a separate dining room leading through to the conservatory (step down into the conservatory). Outside is an enclosed courtyard garden.

Upstairs are the 3 bedrooms. The large master bedroom has a dressing area and an en-suite bathroom. You also have a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a family bathroom.

In the north Cotswolds between the historic towns of Chipping Campden (3 miles) and Moreton in Marsh (4 miles) where you will find a wide selection of shops and amenities. The Cotswold village of Blockley is just 2 miles away with a couple of local pubs and a village shop/Post Office. Some places of interest close by are Hidcote Gardens, Batsford Arboretum, Cotswold Falconry Centre and of course the pretty towns and villages in the Cotswolds such as Stow-on-the-Wold, Chipping Norton, The Slaughters and many more. Stratford-upon-Avon is less than 20 miles for the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, London/Paddington trains from Moreton in Marsh for Oxford, Reading and London.

Northwick Park is approached by a long private drive and stands in around 30 acres of land with a deer park and beautiful gardens. The Manor House is a Grade 1 Listed building and the old buildings and former cottages have been sympathetically restored or converted to create a peaceful haven in stunning surroundings. A rural setting offering a fine example of the best of the English countryside.

The Cotswolds region

From Windsor to the Welsh Borders our area offers a taste of what was and what is...fabulous properties of historic and architectural interest that sit alongside pretty tea rooms, gastro pubs, shops, restaurants etc etc!

In a simply stunning Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty are the Cotswolds with the unique honey-coloured stone, ancient woodlands and miles of rolling hills and over 3,000 miles of public footpaths. The rivers Windrush and Coln trickle their way through some of the prettiest Cotswold towns and villages you will ever come across, Burford, Bourton-on-the-Water and Bibury. Royal Berkshire and the Thames Valley are on the doorstep of the Capital. Stay in Windsor (with a royal neighbour!), be close to Henley-on-Thames famous for Henley Regatta or walk The Thames Path as the river meanders through rural villages, historic towns and peaceful water meadows before it reaches the Thames Barrier in the heart of London. From your 'own' front door you can explore the contrasts of Worcestershire, Herefordshire & Shropshire. Visit the theatres at Stratford-upon-Avon, walk the Ridgeway Path from the Thames in the west through to the atmospheric Chiltern Hills.

Our towns and villages optimise the English rural on the green, a glass of locally brewed beer, peace and quiet - lovely!

The village of Blockley is a perfectly delightful village with a gently flowing mill stream. With a personality of its own reflecting a former life of working silk mills evidence of which can be seen in the pretty silk workers cottages creating a Cotswold village that is slightly different. This north Cotswolds village has much to offer giving an insight to life as it was. Lots of lovely walks, local pubs and well stocked local shops for spoil yourself Cotswold goodies!
