Home description

Wonderful quiet peaceful holiday location overlooking the Kings River (Abhainn Ri), Blessington lakes and Wicklow mountains. 100 acres of farm walks with stiles and an information map to guide you.

4* approved by Failte Ireland (Irish Tourist Board) and located on a 100 acre family farm, free to ramble and sample the spectacular views. Located in the heart of Wicklow an area of outstanding natural beauty known as the garden of Ireland. Only 20 mins drive to the famous site of Glendalough and Wicklows national parklands.

Dublin City is only one hour away. Brittas Bay beach is just over the Wicklow gap on the east coast.

Newly decorated in 2009 to to add more luxury & comfort for our guests. The cottage has three en suite bedrooms (1dbl & 2 Twin) and sleeps six & infant.

The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, washer dryer, microwave, cooker / hob and fridge. The dining area has seating for six and the living area has a wood burning stove, tv, video, DVD and radio. The cottage is equipped to a very high standard.

There are four cottages on the site. Please contact the owner for further details. One cottage has Failte Ireland approved VAS Level 3 (Validated Accessible Scheme 3) which is suitable for a wheelchair user or someone using a walking aid.

Very accessible to Dublin and Co. Kildare.

Blessington a lovely small town with a great selection of shops and restaurants. Blessington Leisure offer many water sports and pony trekking. Pitch and Putt available locally. Tulfarris Golf Resort on 2 miles away. Many tourist locations to visit such as Russborough House, Blessington Lakes, Glendalough, Avoca (Ballykissangel), Brittas Bay (Sandy Beach), Bray Sea Life, Clara Lara Fun Park, Glenroe Farm and many more. In Kidare you have the Japanese / Irish Gardens and National Stud Museum. Lots to do and see.
