House | 2 bedrooms | sleeps 4
This a great cottage if you are looking to be close to Stow on the Wold, Burford and Chipping Norton. Not to mention you are moments from that popular Cotswolds' haunt of Daylesford!
The cottage itself sits in a quite little village, very much off the beaten track, and surrounded by fields and open countryside. Foscot (the village) is on the edge of another equally attractive village Bledington which has one of the best pubs in the region The King's Head. The cottage is a typical 1700's detached Cotswold stone building and has undergone complete renovation and extension and is equipped to a very high standard - absolutely ideal for a self catering holiday.
Surrounding the cottage is a substantial lawned garden (with off-street parking) surrounded by stone walls/close boarded fence. Internally many classic Cotswold features remain including exposed walls, beams and a wood burning stove, mixed with contemporary touches and modern conveniences.
This is an exceptional choice for customers wishing to enjoy a high quality holiday cottage in a premium village location.

The Central England/Cotswolds region
The Cotswolds are one of the most ‘quintessential English’ regions in the UK.
It is officially designated as the country’s largest ‘areas of outstanding natural beauty’. Famous for its hillsides, river valley’s and Cotswold Stone Villages, the Cotswolds hold a wealth of history, stunning scenery, fine dining and many varieties of activities for all age levels.
Foscot and Bledington are truly delightful villages set in the heart of the Cotswolds countryside. Approximately 15 min walk from the house is the award winning Kings Head pub which does excellent food. Nearby are many Cotwolds attractions including the Cotswolds Wildlife Park and Cotswold Farm Park. The renowned Daylesford Organic Store is a few miles away.
The centres of Stratford, Cheltenham and Oxford are approximately 30 mins away and London is easily accessible by train from nearby Kingham which is about 2 miles 'up the road'! (Time from London about 1½ hours and Oxford just 20 mins).
