The Gorenjska region
On the edge of the Julian Alps, you have the run of the mountains in Bled and the Triglav National Park. Warm in the summer, and Skiing in the winter, makes this a great year round resort. Ljubljana, Bled Island, Bled Castle, Lake Bohinj, Babi Zob Caves, Vintgar Gorge are just some of the places to visit in the very near vicinity.

The thermal spring in the lake gives Bled Lake the longest swimming season in the Alps, and has attracted people down the ages for its healing properties. This is an area of stunning beauty with the mountains forming a striking backdrop to the famous lake with its picturesque island in the centre.
