This apartment is ideal for a family, with 1 double and 1 twin room. The fully fitted kitchen with dining area provides the opportunity to cater for everyone, and the terrace is a wonderful place to catch some sun, or watch the sunset over the pokljuka plateau. Within easy walking distance of Bled centre, and just 200 m from the lake, it couldn't be better located. In the winter enjoy the benefits of the cosy underfloor heating! Parking provided also.

The Gorenjska region
Lake Bled is situated in the Eastern foothills of the Alps, and on the edge of the Slovenian Triglav National Park.
It is known for its stunning beauty. It features a fairytale lake with Island, on which stands a picture postcard church. To complete the picture there is a castle perched atop a cliff overlooking the lake, with mountains in background to complete the magical look.
Warm in the summer, and Skiing in the winter, makes this a great year round resort. Ljubljana, Bled Island, Bled Castle, Lake Bohinj, Babi Zob Caves, Vintgar Gorge are just some of the places to visit in the very near vicinity.
Just 20 km away from Austria, and 40 Km from Italy, it has more of a western feel than you might expect.
The Bled area
The thermal spring in the lake gives Bled Lake the longest swimming season in the Alps, and has attracted people down the ages for its healing properties. This is an area of stunning beauty with the mountains forming a striking backdrop to the famous lake with its picturesque island in the centre. Lake Bled really has something for eveyone, and here is the perfect base.

Set in the heart of a tranquil village the apartments were very comfortable and provided the perfect place to relax. The apartment was well stocked with kitchen equipment and the village shop offered local meats, bread and vegetables. A short 10 minute walk along the edge of the lake led us into Bled which was lively with many restaurants and bars. The terrace was a sun trap and at the end of the day a great place to have a beer before venturing into Bled.
This was a perfect holiday with the apartments being ideally located for exploring the countryside, climbing mountains, swimming in or rowing on the lake, and relaxing. We will definetly be returning.
