Beautifully decorated comfortable and spacious apartment in a new alpine style building in a tranquil position just 3km from world famous Lake Bled. Apartment is newly equipped to a very high standard in a contemporary style and has lovely balconies & fantastic views of the Sava River & the Julian Alps beyond. Apartment 8 has 2 double bedrooms & 1 small single bedroom, spacious open plan living room / kitchen with wonderful large balcony. The apartment is in a small village 3km from stunning Lake Bled which can be reached in a few minutes by car or along a beautiful footpath. There is an array of outdoor activities and sightseeing opportunities in the area including fantastic walking, cycling, fly-fishing, water sports at Lake Bled and skiing at a variety of resorts within 30min drive. Sightseeing highlights include the medieval towns of Radovljica & Skofja Loka, Ljubljana & Lake Bohinj.

The Gorenjska region

The Gorenjska region is home to Slovenia's most beautiful scenery, the stunning Julian Alps and the Triglav National Park. Lake Bled is the most famous attraction in this wonderful region which offers a wealth of things to see, outdoor activities and water sports all year round.

The Bled area

In a peaceful and beautiful position overlooking the banks of the Sava River and the Julian Alps on the edge of a small village 3km from world famous Lake Bled with its stunningly picturesque castle and church on an island. The area offers a wealth of outdoor activities in summer and winter alike including fishing in the Sava River, walking and cycling trails from the house, adrenalin sports such as paragliding and kayaking not to mention skiing in the winter at a choice of 5 resorts within half an hour's drive from the house. Lots of sightseeing possible nearby with the pretty medieval towns of Radovljica and Skofja Loka within half an hour's drive and the lovely capital Ljubljana just 45 minutes away.

Lake Bled is situated in the heart of Slovenia's Julian Alps with 2 airports nearby. Ljubljana airport (Easyjet, Adria Airways) is 33km away and the Austrian airport in Klagenfurt (Ryanair) is 61km away. Trieste, Venice, Salzburg and Zagreb airports are a little further but also possible to use to get to the Bled area.

Bled is just off the major motorway running through Slovenia's Julian Alps so easily accessible by road from Ljubljana and the South or from Austria & Italy in the North. The nearest railway station is a few kilometres away at Bled Lesce served by national and international services. The property is located in a tranquil position just 3km from Lake Bled - easily accessible by car, bus or foot.

A fantastic location for a family holiday. The views were magnificent and a 15min cycle ride from Lake Bled. The apartment is really well equipped and the support we received from the booking agents Think Slovenia was really good. We will definitely return.

What a view! We spent a wonderful week in this apartment, very confortable, very clean, a wonderful view and not far from Bled. We had everything we need. The place is very calm....can hear the sound of the river down the hill!

This is a very comfortable and well appointed apartment. the views and setting are superb and it is a great base from which to explore the bled and Bohinj areas. The village of Bodesce and its surroundings are very pretty. there were only two of us and the apartment was very spacious. The service and support from Think Slovenia was excellent throughout.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at the apartment. It was well-equipped and light and airy, as well as being in a peaceful location. As we did not hire a car, we did plenty of walking and explored the immediate area on foot, visiting Radolijca, Sobec, Ribno, Bled and then walked around the Lake. We took the bus from Bled to Bohinj - walked around the Lake and took the Vogel Cable Car up to the Ski Centre where we had lunch. We also spent the day in Ljubljana and went to Izola and Piran for the day. We also found everybody to be so friendly and were soon able to say 'Hello' in Slovenian to the local people as walked up the road into Bled. By the end of the holiday, we had learned a couple of more words.

It was excellent - the accommodation was great and really good value and Pia was very helpful. Because I live in Australia - i don't get to Europe too often but my sister who also came out may be interested in other offers and I will recommend your accommodation to others going to conferences in Bled from here .

i have just returned from 3 weeks in Slovenia during which time we stayed in the Sava View Apartments.. The visit included my wife and 5 year old son and my parents. The apartment was excellent - plenty of room for the 5 of us - great view - internet access and satellite TV which allowed me to watch the world cup. It was also excellent value - I would highly recommend it to couples families or groups of friends.
