About the home

Panorama Apartment 3 is in a fantastic location for a Bled holiday and offers a comfortable clean mid range standard of self catering holiday accommodation. Located next to the road running around the lake just 10m from the lake shore at quieter Western end of the lake, with open views of the lake and the enchanting island castle. Its a few metres walk to the nearest convenience store and there is an excellent restaurant just a few metres further with other options for eating out in walking distance including the fantastic restaurant at the formar residence of Tito, Vila Bled. From the apartment it is a very short walk around the lake shore to the nearest beach area and it is also possible to hire boats very close by. Behind the house is a wonderful forest path leading up to Straza, a famous local hill and site of Bled's mini ski area.There are a number of restaurants, bars and other amenities in easy walking distance of the apartment, not to mention a beach for swimming and sunbathing in Summer months just minutes away.

The Gorenjska region

The Gorenjska region is home to Slovenia's most beautiful scenery, the stunning Julian Alps and the Triglav National Park. Lake Bled is the most famous attraction in this wonderful region which offers a wealth of things to see, outdoor activities and water sports all year round.

The Bled area

Bled is a wonderful location for a family holiday, romantic break or active holiday. It is one of the most beautiful lakes in the Alps, surrounded by picturesque mountains, overlooked by a medieval castle with a charming seventeenth century church on an island. The Lake itself offers scope for swimming an boating and the area offers a wealth of outdoor activities all year round - outstanding walking & biking, flyfishing, kayaking, canyoning & paragliding in Summer months and skiing in Winter months either at the small resort in Bled itself or at 4 larger resorts all within half an hour's drive. Lots of sightseeing within easy day trip distance including the beautiful capital Ljubljana, wonderful lake Bohinj and the medieval towns of Skofja Loka and Radovljica. Plenty of facilities in the town including restaurants, bars, spas, pools & shops.

Lake Bled is situated in the heart of Slovenia's Julian Alps with 2 airports nearby. Ljubljana airport (Easyjet, Adria Airways) is 33km away and the Austrian airport in Klagenfurt (Ryanair) is 61km away. Trieste, Venice, Salzburg and Zagreb airports are a little further but also possible to use to get to the Bled area.

Bled is just off the major motorway running through Slovenia's Julian Alps so easily accessible by road from Ljubljana and the South or from Austria & Italy in the North. The nearest railway station is a few kilometres away at Bled Lesce served by national and international services. The property is located in a tranquil position just 3km from Lake Bled - easily accessible by car, bus or foot.
