You enter this lovely villa at the top-floor. From here you have access to the large private roof-terrace with furniture and fabulous Mediterranean views.
One level down you'll find the hall with toilet, the nicely decorated living room with fireplace, satellite TV, DVD/radio/CD.
The separate kitchen is light and spacious. It has a fridge, dishwasher, oven, and microwave. Both the living room and kitchen have access to the covered balcony with teak-furniture and BBQ. There is also a washing room with washing machine.
From the hall you have access to 2 very large double/triple bedrooms and a separate bathroom with bath/toilet/shower. One level down is the master bedroom with bathroom and Jacuzzi. Another 2 double bedrooms with connecting bathroom (shower/toilet).
These 3 bedrooms all have sliding door access to the adjacent terrace. From here you reach the large swimming pool (8x4 metres.) and another large terrace with 6 sun-loungers.
Bedroom number 4 has its private bathroom with toilet/shower and can easily occupy 3 persons. All bedrooms have wall-fans.

The Costa Brava/Catalonia region
The Costa Brava (rough coast) starts in Blanes and runs up north to the French border. The villa is located in the quiet residential bay of Santa Cristina with fabulous views over the Mediterranean. In 10 minutes you walk to the beautiful secluded beach with lots of green.
Blanes area
Located between Barcelona and Girona there are countless museums, attractions, markets, beaches at your disposal.Blanes disposes of a beautiful sand beach with a really nice boulevard with outdoor cafes and restaurants. It’s also very attractive to walk in the nice harbour. In the shopping labyrinth in the centre you can wander around for hours, while enjoying a nice glass of sangria now and then outside the nice cafes. It’s also worthwhile to visit the botanical gardens. Blanes has a historical centre, and there is a fantastic wide and long sandy beach. If you go for a little bit sight seeing, you will find many small chapels worth visiting. Of course is Blanes famous for its botanical gardens, ‘Mar i Mutra’, designed by the German scientist Faust. Traditional are the markets (in Blanes and Tordera) and the international fireworks event.
How to get there
Blanes is located 70 kms north of Barcelona and 45 kms from Girona. Girona airport, a mayor Ryanair destination is a 30 minute drive. Barcelona airport is 70 minutes. Blanes has a train station with direct links to Barcelona Centre and the airport. We have arrangements with transfer companies and taxis and are an AVIS car rental agent with very competitive prices.

Guestbook for Villa CalaMar
Our first villa holiday turned out to be a great choice. Fab views of the sea from the balcony. Great layout with the living room on top and the bedrooms below. Pool was a great plus with the kids, in it til midnight most nights. Villa was clean and included a mid week clean. Booking was faultless and emails answered quickly. We were visited twice by the owners during the week in order to check if was all OK. Already recommended the villa to friends at work We would love to return in the future.
