Barn | 10 bedrooms | sleeps 19
Newfield Cottages are 4 cottages sleeping between 2 and 6 people. We are ideal for family get-togethers or large groups where some people may want a bit of peace and quiet in their own cottage whilst also being in easy reach of the rest of the group. We have adapted the dining Room and facilities in Rose Cottage so that everyone can sit together at meal times, and we have ample outside space for everyone. Guests have the use of our games room situated in the middle of the complex, a large lawn area with children's climbing frame and garden games and there is ample parking. In the middle of a working farm, surrounded by fields Newfield Cottages are the perfect location for a quiet country holiday. Stroll to the local village shop for farm reared meat and locally produced cakes and cheeses, or relax in the garden whilst the children play. Dorset is steeped in history and there is plenty to visit from the ancient settlement of Badbury Rings to the Jurassic Coast and beyond. Beaches are within easy reach (30mins drive) and there are plenty of places to visit with the kids when they are tired of playing at home. Longleat Safari Park, Adventure Wonderland and Paultons Park are all within one hour.

The Village of Pimperne is situated one mile away from Newfield Holiday Cottages and can be reached on foot, over the fields, for a morning walk for milk and papers. Pimperne has a well stocked village shop, two pubs and a church, and a village hall with a lovely large play area at the end of the lane. Alternatively stroll to our local Home Farm Shop for farm reared meat, home produced cakes and local cheeses. At the end of August each year our neighbouring village hosts The Great Dorset Steam Fair which is well worth a visit, as are the local National Trust houses of Kingston Lacy and the lovely fossil beaches of the Jurassic Coast.
