The Perth and Kinross region
Despite the remote and idyllic location of Gulabin Lodge, the cities of Perth and Dundee are only one hour's drive by car and Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow airports are all within a two hours' drive. There are few things more exciting than setting off on a new adventure to one of the world's most impressive landscapes. The Cairngorms National Park is one such area, and is home to five of the six tallest peaks in Scotland.
Gulabin Lodge is located just off the main A93 at the Spittal of Glenshee between Blairgowrie and Braemar, ideally located for many of the iconic visitor attractions of Scotland; the castles of Balmoral, Blair, Braemar, Glamis and Scone Palace are all within easy travelling distance. Many distilleries are also close by, including the smallest in Scotland, Edradour Distillery in Pitlochry.
The village of Spittal of Glenshee is in Highland Perthshire, a land of outstanding unspoiled natural beauty. A landscape of high mountain ranges, heather moorland, glens and lochs provide some of the most magnificent scenery to be found in Scotland. The Perthshire towns of Dunkeld, Pitlochry, Blairgowrie and Perth offer speciality shopping, pubs and eateries. Royal Deeside and the picturesque villages of Braemar and Ballater are just a short drive away.

"Fantastic stay over new year"
Arrived on December 28th for a weeks stay with friends over New Year. We were greeted by friendly staff that provided detailed information on the surrounding area.
The house was well equipped, the log fire provided a real centre piece for the living/dinning room. Fantastic location and provided the ideal backdrop to bring in the new year.
Hopefully back next year!!
Thankyou very much for taking the time to review your recent stay at Gulabin House. Glad you had a great stay. Look forward to seeing you again sometime in the future.

"geat place for ski weekend"
We have used this place a number of times now both in winter and summer The owner and his staff are very friendly and always seam happy to help. The house is great for groups wanting to getaway form it all with the added benefit of a massive log burned to fall asleep in front of at the end of the day. Great location to ski centre and local hills although there is no pub close by so take all your own refreshments.
Thankyou very much for the review of your stay at Gulabin House, this is much appreciated. We will hopefully see you again sometime in the future.

"Another fantastic few days at Gulabin Lodge"
Stayed with a group of 15 11/12 year olds doing outdoor activities in part independently; in part using Gulabin's facilities. The welcome was fantastic, the accommodation and catering met our needs perfectly and the activities were well conducted and met the needs of the group completely. I would not hesitate to recommend Gulabin Lodge to similar groups and have in fact done so.
Many thanks for taking the time to review your stay, this is much appreciated. Look forward to seeing you all again in the summer.
