Osprey Cottage, near Meigle in Perthshire, has proved itself to be a very popular holiday cottage over the last 10 years, with guest choosing to return year after year, some 3 times a year! As soon as you set foot into the cottage you feel calmer and more relaxed. The interior is light and sunny and beautifully maintained. Sun streams though into the sitting room and kitchen and the sunsets can be spectacular at times. The cottage is tucked away on a very quiet part of the farm and looks straight out over the fields. The seasons happen around you as you see the farming year take shape, ploughing, sowing and harvest time.

With so many wonderful tourist attractions within easy reach you can plan something different for each day knowing that when you return your cottage will be warm, cosy and inviting. It's a dog lovers paradise with a fully enclosed garden.

We pride ourselves on attention to detail and make sure that all three of our cottages are extremely well equipped and comfortable to ensure you have the most relaxing holiday possible.

Both the Twin bedroom and Master kingsize four poster bed have en-suite bathrooms with over bath showers.

Osprey Cottage is a perfect location for combining golf with sightseeing, there are many wonderful golf courses on your doorstep such as Rosemount, Alyth, Strathmore and Glenisla. St Andrews and Carnoustie are just 45 minutes away.

The farm has featured on TV several times as my husband Adrian Ivory is the only person to have won Farmer of the Year and Young Farmer of the year in the same year. A nationwide ASDA advert featuring the whole family was filmed on the farm promoting Adrian's 28 day matured beef in the run up to Christmas 2011.

Please do not hesitate to contact me should you want to discuss your stay or if you would like to find out more about the area or our 3 cottages before booking. Find us on Facebook 'Strathisla Farm Cottages'. With a very high rate of return guests are testimonials speak for themselves. Three generations of the Ivory family live on the farm and we look forward to welcoming you.
