In an area of farmland, bordered by the pretty country towns of Alyth, Blairgowrie and Cupar Angus, 4 miles away. The towns all boast excellent facilities ranging from quaint individual boutiques to fine dining in award winning restaurants to traditional tea and coffee shops. Strathmore is a lush, ten mile wide valley which runs north-east dividing the fertile Lowlands from the wild and majestic Highlands. The local country byways are perfect for quiet walks or cycling and this is the centre of fruit farming with delicious produce widely available. This area is a paradise for golfing, angling, field sports and ornithology. It also offers an excellent touring base to the mountains, lochs and glens of Perthshire and Angus as well as the beautiful coastline with clean sandy beaches and picturesque fishing villages. The famous Gleneagles Golf Resort and Spa is only an hour’s drive away. Leisure facilities: tennis court (rackets and balls provided).

The accommodation offers FOUR bedrooms: 1 master king-size with dressing room, TV, en-suite bathroom with spa bath and shower attachment and sofa bed (suitable for 1 adult or 2 children), 2 doubles with en-suite bathrooms with shower over bath and 1 double with en-suite bathroom with shower over bath located on the ground floor. Additional room which can be used as a study with sofa bed (suitable for 1 adult or 2 children). Bathroom: on the first floor. Shower room and separate WC on the ground floor. Lounge: with doors leading to west-facing conservatory, TV, hi-fi and iPod dock. An extensive DVD collection with over 300 titles is available. Additional lounge/snug: with woodburner (logs provided). Dining room. Kitchen: well-equipped with range cooker, 5 ring gas hob, microwave, 2 fridge/freezers and dishwasher. Kitchen leads to south-facing breakfast room with patio doors. Utility room: with washing machine and tumble dryer. Useful boot room. Outside: 3 acres of garden and grounds with paths leading to the nearby River Ericht (permits available locally), garden furniture and woodburner. Amenities: bed linen, towels, wi-fi, electric and central heating included. Regret no smoking. Regret no pets. Additional info: short breaks are charged as follows: 3 and 4 nights at 75% of the full weekly rates, 5 and 6 nights will be the full weekly rate. Arrival: 4pm.
