Hollybush is a quiet friendly little village, with lots of history, its disused Railway line now a great walk down to the river and out onto the mountains. If you like walks this is a great place to stay.

The big cheese festival is held in late July celebrating all things welsh, Enjoy arts and craft stalls, historical military encampments, and Live music.
Llancalach Fawr Manor
Is a large semi fortified house built in 1530 (tudor times) Step back in time to 1645 and find out about the people who lived in the house. The house is said to be haunted and host regular ghost tours
Caerphllly castle is a great day out, always lots to see and do.
Take a walk on Caerphilly mountain there are various paths you can follow and capture the great views..
Right outside the front door you are surrounded in nature in all its glory, take a walk along the old dis-used railway line, and down to the meandering river, maybe stop and do a little bit of fishing or just keep walking up onto the hills,
For shopping Blackwood is a friendly pleasant town offering a 24 hour Asda superstore,, local cafes, restaurants, and bars.
