Secluded beach just 1mile from property.

The house has a large living /dining room that leads to a spacious patio furnished with a table and chairs.
Large 5m x 5m Log Cabin with Pool and Football Tables and decking area to front on elevated site.

The South East Ireland / County Wexford region

Blackwater village has two small supermarkets, a hotel / restaurant, petrol station and four pubs.
Horse riding is available locally, sea fishing in Kilmore Quay and there are numerous local golf courses,

Places of interest include Hook head lighthouse, John F Kennedy Memorial Park, Wexford heritage Centre, Kia Ora pet farm, Kilmore Quay fishing village, Johnstown Castle Estate and Museum, Wexford opera House, The Wexford Wildlife Reserve, Curracloe Beach (Saving Private Ryan was filmed here).

Fly to Dublin using AERLINGUS.COM or RYANAIR.COM- 1 3/4 hour from the Airport. Motorway all the way to Gorey bypass.
Ferry to either Rosslare 1/2 hrs Dublin city 95mins, Dun laoghaire 95 mins, - Irish ferries, Stena line,
The drive is very straight forward, follow the M11 out from the city to Gorey Bypass.

Excellent week, enjoyed the house and atmosphere which was very relaxing thanks to our hosts. Facilities in Blackwater are very good, lovely hotel, Horse-riding,golf and Da Paola restaurtaunt, well worth the visit.
The beach is stunning and just a short drive from the house.
Strongly recommend this accommodation and location.

Our second visit to Ireland and this fabulous house meant we all had a brilliant holiday. Both older and younger boys enjoyed games room. Lots of space inside and outside gave all our family time to relax and enjoy lovely times. Tks Peter, hopefully we will be back for our 3rd visit and stay for 2 weeks next year.

Super week with wonderful facilities. All 7 of us had a ball. Loads for kids 4 and 7 and their grandparents. Would really recommend Blackwater Open Farm which is 2 mins from house. With tennis, pool table, football table there was plenty to keep us entertained. Will definitely be back.
