Lots to explore and discover, take a boat underground in the Marble Arch Caves Global Geopark. Guided walks available through the megalithic wonders at The Cavan Burren Park. Fishing, wild swimming, water sports, golf, fungi hunting, flora and fauna walks, wildlife and bird watching. Locally wonderful lakeside and waterfall walks on Lough Macnean, Claddagh River and Fowleys Falls.

Blueberry Cottage is in the heart of the Irelands beautiful Lake District. Nestling in the valley of The Cavan Burren,UNESCOs Global Geopark at the foot of Cuilcagh Mountain.

Surrounded by stunning scenery, hill and lakeside walks, the cottage is within easy reach of the magnificent Sligo and Donegal coastline and the beautiful lakes and waterways of Enniskillen and Fermanagh.

You will discover the true essence of an unspoilt landscape of woodland, forest and leafy lanes with an abundance of wildflowers and ferns within this peaceful environment.

Within easy reach are the Marble Arch Caves, the Claddagh Glen and the mystical ancient sites of the Cavan Burren with their abundance of megalithic and neolithic tombs, hut sites and dolmens.

The nearby Lough Macnean offers tranquil walks and wild swimming and excellent coarse fishing, fungi hunting and wild foraging. Blacklion, 3 miles from the cottage has a golfing gem in its lakeside 9 hole parkland course with many other superb courses, including the famous Lough Erne Golf and Country Club and the Co. Sligo (Rosses Point) links, less than 30 minutes away.

The nearby towns of Blacklion, Belcoo, Glenfarne Village and Manorhamilton give you a choice of restaurants and pubs to enjoy. Manorhamilton is known internationally for for its sculpture centre and the Glen Centre has an eclectic arts programme.
