Cavan and has a rich selection of lakeland and mountain landscapes.

The playground on the shores of Lough McNean will entertain the children with the swings, zip line and more! Nearby fishing on the numerous lakes including Allen, Melvin, Arrow will provide both game and coarse anglers. Guide walks and electric bicycle tours to explore the wonderful countryside. Centrally locate Roo is the ideal base to venture further afield to Sligo, Donegal, Fermanagh, Roscommon and beyond, the more adventurous could reach the Atlantic Coast or Lough Key park.

"Unforgetable!"

The cottage at Roo/Rua is warm and welcoming with all modern faciliteswhich made our stay very comfortable. The location overlooking Lough Melvin and beyond is stunning. The changing light constantly reveals a new part of the amazing panoramic view. At night because there is no light pollution the starscape is truly breathtaking. Would definitely stay again.

Many Thanks and look forward to your next visit. I think Lough McNean is the big lake. Best Wishes
