Crowsnest II is located at the south end of the Platinum Coast of Barbados, 30ft from the sea, and with a unique 180 degree view of its longest beach.

Built in 2006, this 5,000 sq ft beach-house occupies the top two stories of the three-storey building. Finished entirely in hardwood and natural stones it features five air-conditioned bedrooms and four bathrooms on the 1st floor, with the living area above where it catches the breeze. The open plan penthouse living area features two lounges, a 14 seat dining table, a barbecue area, bar, library, another full bathroom and a 30ft rooftop pool and wet bar, all arranged around a central open plan kitchen.

While designed for guests who want to self-cater, a cook can be arranged, at additional cost. There is a full-time maid/laundress to wash-up, do laundry, and to clean and service the rooms daily.

Crowsnest is located on Brighton Beach, 2.5 miles North of Bridgetown and 3.5 miles South of Sandy Lane. Kensington Oval is walking distance and, being 4.5 miles from both Holetown and popular St Lawrence, the beach-house is equidistant between both the major restaurant and nightlife areas on the island.

At over 1.2 miles Brighton Beach is the longest on the Platinum Coast and when put together with Paradise Beach provides almost 2 miles of uninterrupted powder soft sand. It is the largest turtle hatchery on the island and turtles are often seen laying eggs, hatching and swimming in the surrounding waters.

Being set back 200 yards from the main road, Crowsnest does not experience the road noise suffered by most West Coast villas and because Brighton Beach is a mainly residential beach, with no hotels or apartment blocks and only a handful of properties available for holiday rental. The beach itself is almost deserted for the majority of the day/week. The water is usually calm and clear, and swimming is safe with negligible current, and a gentle slope to the sand.

Will accept 10 adults with a further 6 children up to a maximum of 16.

This property offers reduced rates for using fewer bedrooms. Exclusive use of the villa is yours regardless of the number of rooms rented. View our rates for pricing per bedroom or request a quote. Rates are based on double occupancy.

The one bedroom rate starts at $3500/week. Depending on the number of bedrooms being used, and time of year rates range from $3,500 to $14,000 per week.

Longer Term Rate (14 nights +) All nights booked over 14 are charged at 50% of applicable daily rate.

Single beds can be pushed together to form large double beds. Each single bed also has a rollaway bed. A $50 per additional guest, per night surcharge is applied for more than 10 persons.

The bottom floor is occupied by a long term client (professional couple, no kids). A sixth bedroom with en-suite, not part of the main apartment but annexed to the garage, may also be available.

Barbados has lots of beautiful beaches and a great climate. It is also easy to get to with many direct flights from Canada, the United States and Europe. The weather is almost always sunny and warm in Barbados, cooled by the northeast Tradewinds. Barbados sightseeing is a photographer's dream. There are many natural wonders, breathtaking scenic views, gorgeous gardens and miles of white, sandy beaches. There's so much to see and many things to do such as duty-free shopping, guided island tours, or visit one of the many beaches, nature reserves or historic landmarks.

Barbados offers such an abundance of natural beauty, culture and history that the island is called “The Gem of the Caribbean.” Located about 300 miles north of Venezuela and the most Eastern of the Caribbean islands, Barbados portrays a delightful blend of West Indian culture and English Tradition. Independent since 1966, Barbados is the most developed of the Caribbean islands and Bridgetown, the 375-year-old historic capital is its colourful and bustling center of activity. Shopping, excellent dining and a funky nightlife are just a few of the many options available. There is an extensive bus system that is cheap and fast, providing an entertaining way to discover the island.

There are magnificent caves to explore, gorgeous landscapes and tropical gardens to visit, and an abundance of wildlife to see, including the mischievous little “green monkeys” that call Barbados their home. On the South and West coasts, the Caribbean Sea with calm blue waters and endless stretches of fine white sandy beaches invites you to relax, while the Atlantic east coast with cliffs and great waves is ideal for wind and sky surfing.

There is lots to do and the choice is not easy, but whether you enjoy some of the 3,000 hours of annual sunshine or chat with a friendly “Bajan” in one of the numerous little rum shops on the roadsides, make sure to relax in the comfort of your private Rental Butler villa at the end of the day. Take in the breathtaking sunsets, have a delicious local dinner prepared for you or just lean back and dream into the starry skies.
