The Vale of Glamorgan region

Awarded the title of Britain's first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in 1956, The Gower Peninsular is a true haven. Tucked away in South-West Wales, Gower offers its visitors the feeling of complete freedom, whilst lying just a short drive from Swansea and the M4. Gower is famous for its beautiful and varied landscape, featuring golden beaches, limestone cliffs, moors, hills and woodland. A popular destination for ramblers, surfers and rock climbers, there's a wide range of activities on offer and always something new to try. Those who want to explore at a more relaxed pace can discover mouth-watering local produce, boutique shopping, cafes, art galleries and more in the popular fishing village of Mumbles. With a rich cultural heritage and plenty of attractions both ancient and modern, the Gower Peninsular is an area of the UK that's not to be overlooked.

Bishopston

Caswell is a beautiful Blue Flag beach with a large car park and its own beachside restaurant as well as a snack bar and beach shop. There is a lifeguard in attendance during the summer months and GSD surf school in operation. Out of season this beach becomes a surfer's paradise.
