Whilst Hillcrest House Apartment is a five minute walk from the beach we would also recommend lounging in the apartment's beautiful private garden surrounded by exotic plants and flowers. There is a restaurant and bar within sight of the apartment block and it is a ten minute walk down to the village of Mumbles. The apartment has two bedrooms and an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining table and sofas with access onto the garden.

There are two entrances to the property one from the main entrance of the building accessed from a sloped path which runs from the parking area in front of the property, this path has 25 shallow steps. The other entrance is through a private gate into the garden and accessed by a steeply sloping footpath to the side of the building.

Hillcrest Apartment has been recently renovated to a high standard. The main living area is open plan and tastefully finished with polished cork flooring, and stylish furniture. A newly fitted kitchen spans one end of the room with granite worktops and integrated appliances. There is a dining table with seating for four and two comfortable sofas arranged around a flat screen television. The owners are keen art collectors and there are lots of examples of Modern Welsh art on the walls. The room looks out over a beautiful garden. Through a door off the kitchen area is a utility room. The two double bedrooms are beautifully finished both have ensuite shower rooms.

There is parking for two cars (end to end) in an allocated bay to the front of the property.

"An excellent spot for both Mumbles and the beaches"

The flat is well-equipped and very comfortable. It was our first holiday with our 5mth son and everything was very straightforward (we left the pushchair in the car because of the steps/stairs). We had everything we needed in th kitchen and two bathrooms was a plus. The garden is also lovely (probably not suitable for a toddler but then the beach is only 5mins walk away). We're going to be rebooking because it was so good. We also appreciated the fact there is parking for two cars so that family could drop in to see us.

It sounds like you had a fantastic time and we're delighted you enjoyed your first family holiday. We look forward to seeing you again on Gower soon!
