"Beautiful bungalow with pictureseque views"

We are a family of four and stayed here for a week in April. Altona is a very comfortable, well equipped, well located bungalow. York is about 25 minutes drive away. We visited york chocolate story, Jorvik, the railway museum and had a day trip to Scarborough. Maureen, the owner, is very welcoming and helpful should you need anything. We had a very enjoyable week and would not hesitate to recommend the property and are hoping to return.

"Bramblefield Cottage " Your place to stay ""

I booked this cottage as I wanted a place close to York. Our stay with 4 adults far exceeded my expectations. The cottage is large enough to house 4 adults, it is newly refurbished to a very high standard and it is very well equipped with everything you need. For your travel, it is close to York, the seaside and the moors. Tired or not in the mood to do your own cooking, take a walk just around the corner and visit the local pub. Maureen, thanks again for the warm welcome and the occasional chats we had. Wish you every success in the further exploitation of Bramblefield Cottage.
