Exposed beams and a four-poster bed help it retain much of its original charm and there is also a small garden from which you can enjoy the stunning scenery or indulge in a spot of al fresco dining. There is parking for up to 2 cars, although the best way to get the most from this area is on foot.

Full LPG central heating throughout. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, colour TV, video etc. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 2 cars. Lawned garden to rear with patio, garden furniture and BBQ. Sorry no pets and no smoking. Shop 2 miles, pub with restaurant 1 mile. Note: There is a private water supply.
The Heart of England / Peak District / Shropshire region
A E Houseman once wrote that Shropshire was “the quietest place under the sun” and today the county remains something of a rural idyll, recognised as one of the least crowded and most peaceful regions in England.
The Bishop's Castle / Wentnor area
The village of Wentnor lies on a ridge to the west of the Long Mynd, with good views in all directions. It is an attractive village, situated on a location that can be traced back to Saxon times. The church of St. Michael and All Angels is at one end of the ridge, and there are spectacular views to be had from there, looking towards the west from the churchyard. Carved into an outside wall of the church is an inverted 'face'. Inside is a tombstone known as the ‘Hurricane Tombstone’; this is in memory of a family who lost their lives in the nearby hamlet of Asterton during a hurricane in 1772. Wetnor is also situated close to many other historic Shropshire attractions. The Shropshire Hills are littered with Roman and Iron Age settlements, perfect destinations for those who want to mix a bit of history with a scenic walk. Church Stretton is only a few miles away and offers a beautiful example of a modern medieval village. With outdoor pursuits, such as fishing and mountain-biking, in abundance, Wentnor is a haven for those looking to get away from it all.

,Spacious, quiet property, ideal for a couple. Impressed that there was both a bath and shower. Usually the smaller properties do not have a bath, which is a great shame after a long day out on the hills! Location was fantastic if you like walking. Straight out onto the Shopshire way and half an hour to the top of the Long Mynd.

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee per week or short break.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
