Biograd Na Moru area
Once a crown city of Croatian kings, today Biograd na moru is an up-to-date tourist and nautical centre in the middle of the Adriatic coast. This picturesque town lies on a peninsula surrounded by modern marinas and a promenade from which spreads an unforgettable sight to the Pasman channel and little islands scattered all over it. Swimming in a crystal clear sea is possible only about hundred meters from town centre, where beaches spread in the shade of centuries old pine woods, and for those who prefer privacy there are many small afforested islands in the Pasman channel. The interesting placement in the centre of the Adriatic, in the vicinity of many national and nature parks, as well as the rich tourist tradition completed with diverse cultural, amusement and sporting events only add to list or reasons for choosing Biograd as the destination of your holiday to remember. Each year in February the Carnival tradition gives a special touch to our off-season offer. This area is perfect for birders, since in the mentioned national and nature parks different Mediterranean varieties can be spotted. Croatia is on the central and partially west-European migration corridors. In the spring and in the fall, intensive migrations take place in the most of the coastal habitats, especially of raptors. The coast is also an important wintering area for a large number of species. The protected areas of the coast are of special interest, such as the Nature Park Velebit, Nature Park Vransko Lake, National Park Paklenica, ornithological reserve Velo and Kolansko blato on the island of Pag, and the territory of the river Zrmanja, all in range of cca 150km from Biograd na moru.

How to get there
Cheap flights available by Ryanair from London Stansted to Zadar airport that is 33 km from Biograd na moru. We can organize your transfer from airports Zadar or Split, as well as your car hire. Local buses run regularly between Zadar and Biograd, and there are always local taxis available - fair from Zadar airport to Biograd is about 50,00 EUR. Railway station in Zadar is next to the bus station. International bus lines are also arriving to Zadar.

The owner's weekend rates apply to: Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights
NB: Prices may be subject to change at the owner's discretion. Tourist tax is not included in the price. Tourist tax per adult daily for the period 1.07.-31.08. 1,00 EUR, for the rest of the year 0,75 EUR. Children of age 12-18 are charged 50% of this tax, and younger children than that are free of this charge.
