Binibeca / Binibeca Nou area
We are pleased to offer a selection of great value villas in Binibeca, Menorca. Binibeca is in the Golden Triangle of Menorca away from busy hotels yet only 15 minutes drive from the portside restaurants of Mahon and Es Castell. Well worth a visit too, is the nearby town of San Luis with its many fine restaurants and market square.
The resort of is made up of two separate areas; Binibeca Vell, which was designed by the famous Catalan architect, Antonio Sintes, in the 70’s to look like a genuine old Mediterranean fishing village with a maze of narrow alleys, Moorish arches, whitewashed houses with sun-soaked patios, and a little harbour. It’s a quaint, quiet and laid-back place with restaurants, bars, shops and squash courts.
In contrast, Binibeca Nou has a gorgeous, sandy beach with sufficient space for sunbathing. It is 130m in length and 180m wide having fine golden sand and still waters, making it ideal for children. Low mountain vegetation surrounds the area and it is well sheltered from the sea by a large jutting rock and sand dunes to the rear.
There is a beach bar and restaurant as well as sun beds with parasols for a relaxing day by the sea. If you something more active, then snorkelling is popular along the this coast and there is a diving centre nearby.
A road train running to and from the nearby resort of Punta Prima is a popular outing for children. There is a degree of family nightlife in Binibeca Vell however for more variety a short drive will take you to St Luis or the capital Mahon.

Further details indoors: The accommodation is on two floors. An external staircase leads up from the gardens to a superb “L” shaped sun lounge with views to the coast. From here, double doors lead to a spacious living room with sitting and dining areas. The separate fitted kitchen is adjacent to the living room and has a dishwasher, free standing oven / hob, fridge freezer and microwave oven. There are also two twin bedrooms, a double bedroom and a single bedroom on this level sharing two bathrooms. The ground floor accommodation is accessed from a separate door to a hallway. From here there is a large living room with second kitchen off. Also on this level there are two further twin bedrooms and a triple bedroom sharing a family bathroom. Entertainment is provided here by a Satellite TV, DVD Player and Music system. The villa good basic accommodation and is ideal for two families travelling together but still requiring a degree of independence.
Further details outdoors: Outside, there are extensive mature ornamental gardens with borders and hedging to give good privacy. The sun terraces surrounding the 8m x 5m swimming pool have a shade from an awning. To the side of the house there is a laundry area housing the washing machine. A brick-built Barbecue and patio furniture are provided to enjoy ‘Alfresco’ dining. In addition sun beds and parasols are available by the pool. This is an idea basic villa for a family holiday where close proximity to resort amenities is important.
