This property at The Raven represents the largest penthouse at the brand new Raven development. The Raven houses stylish and contemporary, very spacious condos and penthouses with all the comforts of home and much attention paid to fine detail. The Raven has its own swimming pool and fitness centre which all guests have full use of and every condo and penthouse comes with its own private deck and hot tub. These properties are unique and we have set very competitive rates for this 2nd season. This property was brand new for the Winter 07/08 season. The Raven properties can accommodate groups of 1 to 18 people very comfortably.
Our holiday home is modern, stylish and extremely comfortable with attention paid to every detail. It is fully equipped to enable you to have exactly the kind of holiday that you are looking for, whether you are a small or large party. There is great open living space for family gatherings and entertaining and areas for those who want to have peace and privacy. Private space for Kids - could be the Den with bunk beds to sleep 5, large screen plasma TV and games console. The separate loft area also has its own large screen TV and games console, a pool table, a wet bar for mixing drinks and comfortable seating. Adults can enjoy 'time out' with a glass of wine on one of the two private decks, or in the steaming hot tub under the stars. If you love cooking a fully equipped Gourmet kitchen has just about all the equipment you'd have at home and probably more!

The Big White resort sits within the beautiful Okanagan Valley in British Columbia, it’s around 45 minutes drive from the nearest town Kelowna. There are non stop flights into Kelowna from Vancouver and Seattle and regular daily shuttle services to the resort.

With 24ft of annual snow fall, the finest dry champagne powder snow and lots of sunshine Big White is fast becoming the most popular resort in Canada, especially for family ski vacations. Voted “Best weather” by Ski Canada magazine.
There are over 118 ski runs, five powder bowls and the world class Telus free style snow Boarding Park. The huge outdoor skating rink, the mega coaster tube rides, cross country skiing, snow mobiling and many other activities will keep you highly entertained.
Big White has almost 2,800 acres of terrain making it the second biggest mountain in Canada. The mountain is geared to all levels of skiing and snow boarding with well groomed runs and 16 fast modern lifts (no waiting in queues). There are runs perfect for beginners and intermediates as well as above tree-line skiing challenges for the much more advanced. Night skiing is available Tuesdays to Saturdays.
The resort village is Canadas’ largest totally Ski-in Ski-out village. There are 17 restaurants cafes and bars, village shopping, family entertainment including regular après-ski with live bands, fireworks and carnivals. Big White has everything you need for a thrilling and magical holiday.
How to get there
Travelling to Big White is easy with Kelowna International airport just 45 minutes away from The Raven and Big White mountain. From the airport there are regular shuttle bus services direct to Big White. With direct flights and good connections, Big White is easily accessed from around the world. England, Europe and Hong Kong have direct flights into Vancouver, Calgary and Seattle, with direct connections to Kelowna International Airport. The trip from the airport to The Raven and Big White is less than an hour. Or, you may prefer to hire a car and take a breathtaking drive through the Rockies. Further details indoors: This 3,100 Sq Ft loft style Penthouse has 5 bedrooms plus a Den. A Den can be described as a separate cosy sleeping room with bunks beds, limited furniture, no closet or window. This Penthouse den is larger than normal with 2 sets of bunk beds large plasma TV and games console - a great cosy den for kids, or adults!
This very large Penthouse is laid out over two levels, the loft being the upper from where you can look down over the bannisters onto the level below. This is an extremely spacious 3,100 square foot condo with 2 private balconies facing towards the south and the Monashee Mountains, enjoying the best elevated views from the Raven building. The lower level has huge open plan living, dining and kitchen areas. The whole living space boasts high ceilings, huge windows giving much light and space and from the lounge area you can access both private decks. Each of the 4 bedrooms on this lower level leads off of the main open living space and Master bedroom 1 and the Queen room have front facing views. Three of these lower level bedrooms have private en-suite bathrooms and there is a further family bathroom directly opposite the 4th bedroom without en-suite. Two of the bathrooms have double size 'Steam Showers' which double as steam rooms. The upper loft level has its own family bathroom, bedroom 5, loft space with wet bar, full size slate pool table, TV and seating. There is also a further separate Den with additional beds. There are 3 secure parking spots and ample ski locker space.
The breakfast bar with bar stools provides a perfect place for casual eating or sharing a drink with the chef! There is plenty of comfy sofa seating surrounding a large roaring flame fire with wall mounted large screen plasma TV above. There is also a DVD player and stereo and a good library of CDs, DVDs and books to enjoy. There are 5 bathrooms with steam shower enclosures in two of the en-suites. The entire condo has underfloor heating throughout. Three private & reserved car parking spots and ample Ski storages is available for guest use.
