Foxfield is a large, detached house which, with 4 bedrooms, offers accommodation for up to 7 people. Originally a church hall, it has been sympathetically restored to offer a charming and unique haven for large families or groups of friends. The property has a private garden to its rear, perhaps for a spot of alfresco dining in the summertime, but the property is centrally-heated throughout and has a wood-burning stove in the lounge, so that you can enjoy all that the region has to offer, even in the colder months. There is parking for up to 2 cars, although the local pub is only a short walk away.

Bideford / Welcombe area
The village sits astride a deep valley from which a meandering stream leads to the cliff-edge at Welcombe Mouth, where it ends in a picturesque waterfall. St Nectan's Church looks over the northern side of the valley, while The Old Smithy Inn lies on the southern side. Welcombe is a popular holiday destination and many visitors return to enjoy the spectacular scenery and the peaceful surroundings year after year. Welcombe is part of an Area of Oustanding Natural Beauty and offers ample opportunity for relaxing walks, cycle rides and observing wildlife in its natural habitat. Nearby, you will find the Big Blue Surf School in Bude . Within a short drive, you can experience attractions, such as Docton Mill, Hartland Abbey and its stunning Gardens and the garden at Rosemoor, which has been established as a garden of National Importance.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'LOW', 'MID', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

It was a lovely location & very comfortable cottage. It was well equipped, with a very nice garden & seating area. Would recommed this cottage if you enjoy peace & quiet & beautiful countryside.
