Sitting just off the sea wall means that waves are lapping metres from your private balcony from where you can enjoy views towards the 2 miles of golden, sandy beach with its unique pebble ridge. A stone's throw from the village amenities including pubs, shops and restaurants as well as a number amusement arcades to entertain children of all ages. Westward Ho! also benefits from England's oldest golf club, Royal North Devon, that stretches out on to the Northam Burrows Country Park, protected from the sea by the pebble ridge and offers some of the finest walks through the dunes and along the shoreline. The fishing village of Appledore is a short drive and retains much of its original charm with its narrow winding streets and wealth of intimate restaurants and pubs. Attractions in the area include The Big Sheep, The Milky Way, Dartington Crystal, RHS Rosemoor Gardens, Clovelly, Exmoor Zoo and Combe Martin Wildlife Park to name but a few.
The accommodation is split over the second and third floors (top) floors of the Horizon View building and offers TWO bedrooms: both located on the second floor, 1 master king-size with en-suite shower room and WC and 1 twin. Bathroom: located on the second floor, with shower over bath and WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: on the upper floor (third floor), open-plan and enjoys uninterrupted, panoramic sea views. Lounge area with flatscreen TV with Freeview, DVD and small hi-fi for tapes and CDs. Also available, a selection of games and viewing material. Well-equipped kitchen with integrated oven, hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and microwave. Washer/dryer located in the boiler cupboard. Outside: spacious private balcony with seating. Amenities: secure underground parking for 1 vehicle with additional secure car park above ground. Bed linen, towels, electric, central heating and wi-fi included.
